Graduated with a B.A. in Journalism, and a degree in Film. I've been both a freelance marketing consultant and a rat in the corporate cage as a marketing manager. I produced an indie film out of college that was a flop, then worked on an actual Hollywood film as an office manager. Never, never, ever again.

Doing consulting work now while I work on book three of a YA trilogy. Yeah, I know. Not the most novel move, but the most fun route for me, and that's just where my story landed when my main goal was to inspire young women.

Other than the basic must-read novels from school I've only been reading non-fiction since then (except for my favorite writers below). Why on earth I think I can suddenly spew out fiction is beyond me, but I'm going to practice, practice, practice.

Trail running, reading, juicing and watching movies until my head pounds. Last movie watched: Funny People with Adam Sandler. Wondering why the best scene of the movie came in towards the end. I love comedy.
