When I was in high school, I had a tough teacher tell me that in the 13 years he taught high school English, I was hands down the best writer he had seen. I had a story of mine stolen and published by a senior when I was a freshman. However, I had a tough life and had to grow up fast. There were bills to pay to take care of my family and writing was not the right path if I wanted to take care of my family. In the past 10 years, I have completely lost my touch and trained myself to write business and compository-type writing for my current job. Now, I have been overwhelmed with a desire to get back to writing. So please forgive the rough edges in my writing. I am attempting to regain the vocabulary and flow I failed to develop when I was younger.
