Hello everyone, I've been meaning to join in for the past week, but have been to busy to do so, so here is my character. Please PM me if you would like me to clarify anything. Millaria: Ifrit - Plant subtype (Female) Health: 7 Speed: 8 Power: 6 Magic : 12 Eather: Gaia and Althea Spells: Photosynthetic Infusion - Millaria becomes covered in non-entangling vines which improve healing and speed, she may also launch seeds at an ally to apply the same effect to them. Sandstone Bark - Millaria's skin hardens and becomes encased in organic, malleable rock, improving armor and power, she may also launch seeds at an ally to apply the same effect to them, provided they are not wearing a significant amount of armor and clothing. Entangling Roots - Millaria summons grasping thorny roots to entangle an enemy while dealing damage and poisoning them. Ability: Nature's Protection - A wall of tendrils composed of thorny plants and hardened earth erupts from the ground around Millaria to push away enemies and protect her from attacks and projectiles. Description: Millaria is a sentient, humanoid plant, of the cactus subtype. Her skin is tone ranges from pale green to dark green, becoming darker around the hands, feet, and hair. Her hair is a mass of prehensile tendrils of varying thickness and length, going all the way down to the small of her back. She is approximately six feet tall and very slender, standing on two legs but having four arms. Her entire body is covered in retractable and poisonous spines, which really do not do direct damage, but can cause pain to anyone trying to grapple her without any armor on. Millaria is completely naked, and any perceived clothing is actually just her skin, which is hardened or rigid in certain areas. She wields a long blade, that was grown from the same tree that she was, that is made out of a strange organic rock and is covered in an overgrowth of plant mass and thorns, with a long, intelligent vine coming down from the bottom of the blade, and while she is under the effect of sandstone bark, her spines protrude from her skin and become enlarged, her skin thickens and turns dark brown, and her hands turn into claws. Milliaria is a creature that was born from a massive, intelligent tree that is at the center of an oasis, known as the Vernalos, the Ancient. This tree is thousands and thousands of years old, and is possibly one of the oldest living things on VenShara, and having reached maturity while the planet was still green and healthy, his roots reach deep and far throughout the planet. Vernalos is basically immortal, being rooted upon a spring of water, forming a crossroads of Eather for him to feed upon. However, the drying of the planet affected him more than it could have possibly affected anything else, and it has slowly been killing his vast system of roots and has started to drain his life force. Knowing many of the innumerable mysteries of the world and cosmos, Vernalos knew he had to find a Godspeaker, in order to try and come to terms and atone for whatever transgressions Creation has committed against Bahumut. So, with the last of his strength, Vernalos gathered all of his essence and gave birth to twelve daughters, infusing within them the very heartseeds of the VenShara. Expending the last of his energy, Vernalos in all but name, died, leaving behind a desiccated and withering husk. Millaria and her eleven sisters were tasked with finding the Godspeaker, and to find a way to restore the planet, and thus saving the life of Vernalos.
