    Sitting by a Fountain, Watching the world go by.
    For the most focused on of my three MCs I have detail on his past, his looks, his future, his mental stability, etc. However I don't throw all of the info out at once. You'll be reading along and a remark will come out about the guys past. There you go a part of the story describes him. You'll have alot of up front detail but for the most part its all in the flow of the story for me.

    I generally write very little about how they look.
    I, as a reader, generally only pickup on eye colors, whether they are handsome or ugly (I don't understand if they overly define their facial features as it's too subjective), and their hair/beard styles and color.
    So, I as a writer, do the exact same knowing what a reader might do.

    I sprinkle descriptions only when appropriate, I don't force it, and when it comes naturally or it makes sense to point it out.
