I just had crepes. Swedish. With lingonberry butter. I almost finished the whole thing. Then my friend got me a carton of smokes. I think I'm done quitting and even that makes me happy. YAY.
Plättar? I'm just glad I'm at home and it's not terribly cold inside. I must've biked around 10 miles today, and it's still kind of cold (-16 C / 3 F), so I'm defintely going to barricade myself in for the next, oh 20 hours at least, thank you very much.
Happy. Friday afternoon, and I'm ready to leave work and move toward a slothful, unproductive weekend. Plenty of good beer in the fridge. The Mrs and I will soon settle in and watch another few episodes of Breaking Bad on DVD. The walls of the Man Cave are lined with aqauriums, a flat-screen TV is mounted in the middle of the big wall. I can almost hear the sound of waves whooshing and bubbles gurgling, I'd better move my butt before I fall asleep thinking about it. It's the most relaxing room I've ever been in, and it makes me...happy. Wishing a happy weekend for all.
I suggest watching more than a "few" episodes of Breaking Bad. If you don't have kids, no reason you shouldn't watch at least a dozen. ;-)
I have Jamba Juice in my hands. It's smoothie LA thing. Actually, I won't bother to look it up, but I hear Jamba Juice is opening in Indonesia? jk. it should. it so should
Absolutely. We saw a random episode about a month ago and really liked it. I got the first two seasons on DVD as a Christmas present. We blew through those pretty quickly, and I picked up seasons three through five on the way home from work Friday. Dang it! Something always happens late in an episode that leaves you dying to watch the next. It's almost as if they do that on purpose. We watched six episodes this weekend. There was an article in the paper not long ago talking about how more and more people are experiencing the "Lost Weekend," watching DVD sets or marathons. I'm like, "What. Like that's a bad thing?"
I can't tell you how many times I've said, "Okay. Just ONE more..." I can't remember which season it is -- I think Season 4, with Gus Fring is THE BEST season. My husband and I were like, OMG I can't believe how good this show is!
Hooray! My son came over and helped me get Office back from the Time Machine files. Apple geniuses are anything but. My son on the other hand...
Hooray for sons! Mom's make us feel so special when we do things for them. I got so much love when I built a new patio for my ma and gma. lol On another note, in my technical editing class, we have to do an online grammar self-assessment and we have to pass it with at least a 90%. We have 5 total chances to get that, and I hit it on my first try! I did't even get a chance to study lol. I feel like I actually have been learning from all this reading and writing. (Oh! And from French too. Something I learned in French class helped me remember something for this.) She says she's only had 2 students in 6 semesters pass it on the first try sooo... I'm feeling pretty good!
Thanks to a judge who is a serious stickler for detail, I have an extra day to finish the translation of my extradition package. The English original from the AUSA had some omissions of statute wording to which the judge objected during the swearing of the documents today.
There is pad thai in my belly disseminating culinary joy and laughter throughout my person. The Thai think of themselves as the smiling people. Through their kitchen I experience the truth of it.
It's a muscle relaxer and it makes me trip out. It's a side effect I'm supposed to report to my doctor, but they just work too well!
Well I could be having a dream, and I'll wake up from the dream but still see parts of the dream happening in front of me. Then it slowly disappears. Lots of times I'll be in the middle of reaching out for stuff in my dreams and won't be able to touch it and hit the wall next to my bed instead.
Sounds fun, until you realize you need to function. I hope you aren't driving or operating machinery.
