    I feel your pain, literally.

I had the cracked tooth in an old root canal version. Even with dental insurance I'm in more than $3,000 and the crown that goes over the implant isn't included in that total. They put the implant post in this morning. I still have to wait a couple more months for the tooth.

Yeah, all the money I just saved up for a different implant is now going to be sunk into this tooth. I never thought I would be praying for a botched root canal:(. I asked if we could do a bridge or leave it blank since it is in the back. Because I am a clencher, my remaining molars couldn't carry the load without risking breaking themselves.

Mine's in the front. I could have had a bridge crown instead of an implant but that required ruining two good teeth to make the bridge. If I had a missing molar, I might be tempted to not replace it.

Even better case scenario: the previous root canal was botched, and you get to sue your dentist for a million dollars.

The big hole the firemen made with their axe while putting out the flames got boarded........soooo that's good.

And of course nobody was harmed.

Dreamed about one of my old bosses. Even after all this time, a nightmare about being stuck at that horrible workplace. *shudders*

Managed to have a nightmare about ghosts, wake up, and then have a nightmare about zombies. Must have been all that melatonin.

I had a dream I went to the store to buy fixins for pancakes and could not find the pancake mix. When I asked the clerk where it was he said, "Aren't you a chef? Don't you know how to make pancakes from scratch?"
I was then shamed out of the store.

You should have demanded that he gift-wrap it for you, because of course you know how to make pancakes from scratch, but the mix is for someone else. :p

The correct response is, "You're out of scratch, too."

Even in your dreams, that should work. :)

OK, so here's what happened to me.

I'm discussing Padme Amidala's character on a Star Wars forums with my fellow Star Wars fans, and this one user comes up and says that she's emotional because she's a woman. We ask him to clarify and he goes on to say that women are more emotional than men. We retaliate and he says we're being too PC to look at reality. He uses Daily Mail to back up his claims, and then goes on to say that basically 'the reality is that women are emotional, just like Asians are small and blacks have small dicks'.

    *sighs*

Guess it just shows that no matter where you go, there will always be nasty bigots. And I'm a guy being offended at this. It must feel ten times worst for women to have some asshole say that they're 'emotional because they're women' and laugh at everyone, claiming that they're being too PC to 'face reality'.

Next time ask him if he thinks we should still do hysterectomies for hysterical women. :p

So I've had my new Samsung Galaxy Note4 phone for about a week now. I have three email addresses and wanted to set them all up on the phone. I was able to set up two of them very easily, but the third one is fighting me tooth and claw. It keeps saying "Authentication Failed."

So I put that problem aside for a bit and just now I tried to set up Twitter. It said okay, your twitter account is all set up now, but I can't find it on the screen! Instead, I have a fourth email address all of a sudden.

There is no documentation anywhere that clearly explains how to do these things. The thing to do, apparently, is seek out one of the very rare Experts Who Are Wise In These Things and beg their assistance. The problem is, they all attend middle school and it's just creepy for an old guy like me to be hanging around schoolyards accosting kids.

    Argh.

Did you download the Twitter app from Google Play? That's how I got it working. Then I just signed in after opening the app.

The problem I had with setting up multiple email addresses/mailboxes was that it wouldn't sync with the mail boxes, so it showed only the newest emails, not what had been previously sent or received. I don't have that problem with gmail but those were outlook accounts for my mom. When I still had Lumia, I had the opposite problem: Gmail didn't sync with old mail while Outlook did. I'm doing something wrong, but can't be arsed to fix it.

I don't have "Google Play." I have Google Play Music, Google Play Books, Google Play Movies & TV, and Google Play Newsstand. I opened Chrome and went to www.twitter.com to try to set it up from there. No dice.

I have a gmail account that syncs fine. I also have two Yahoo accounts: one works great and syncs, and the other doesn't work on my phone. It works on my laptop, but not my phone. As of tonight, I have another gmail account, and it also works and syncs. The only account that doesn't work on my phone is my business account, and it's the most important! Argh.

Oh, ok. It's like the store that basically contains apps, books, movies, TV etc. It was pre-setup in my phone and basically that's where you get all the apps from, so I'm not sure how it can be missing O_O

He's probably assuming that more estrogen makes a person more "emotional." Is he wrong? Is he right? I don't know enough about estrogen to say either way, and I'm willing to bet you don't either, Link. Even if you happened to be right, and even though he was probably being a biggot, I bet you were actually just being P.C, sorry to say :S

FYI, the study I'm assuming your friend found from dailymail, is also on sciencedaily.com. It is a real, legitimate study.

That's horrible. I mean, everybody has tooth problems eventually, but to need to pay so much. Lord.

I remember avoiding dentists when I lived in the States because I couldn't afford them. Fortunately my teeth didn't give me much bother then, so I got by. But I just had a root canal done here in Scotland by an NHS dentist that cost me a whopping £72. That's around $110. And that's the most expensive treatment I've ever had.

Mind you, implants here are only done through 'private' dentists, and they run at around £3000.oo per tooth. So I don't think I'll bother. Eventually I'll either get dentures or puree my dinners. But hopefully that's still a way into the future...aargh...

Anyway, good luck. Is there any way you can get help to pay for this?

Yeah, it's basically your version of Fox News. :p

We were basically discussing why Padme's character went from 'independent and strong' in The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones to clingy, crying and losing the will to live in Revenge of the Sith.
