a priori about 1 page a poteriori it could be the whole thing in practice rarely more than 2-3 pages i suggest you pull out *scenes* from your chapters those would be (at least should be) short enough to be reasonable
there are 5 levels of editing spag is the last and lowest level that needs to be done and it shoudl be done last but needs to be correct if you expect help at higher levels so that seing said i am not willing to do a development edit full of spag errors and if you need spag help i expect you to have used the computer tools to fix as many as you can before i proof it
there is a time and place for every purpose under heaven internet discussions do not merit formal writing and editing
They absolutely do. Did you notice that pretty much every single poster on this forum has enough respect for the other participants to use correct English? That suggests that you're in a small minority.
te truble is that ef u rite like dis is that it aint all that comprehesibuble and it also meks yu luke like you dunt care witch dunt make overs wont to tek the thyme to tawk 2 u
there is nothing incorrect about my english turn on text to speech and it will sound like we are talking
But it just looks so... unprofessional. It's as simple as a couple of keystrokes. Regardless, to answer the question: I think I would be willing to read an entire manuscript for someone if their first few chapters interest me enough.
There's another thread in which you were indirectly told by a mod that it's part of the community rules to engage with respect to grammar conventions.
"so that seing said" , I can't be the only one who noticed the irony of that in a sentence about how people should check their spag
On the upside, at least he doesn't have a stuck capslock key like that other guy. Less shouty, should count towards an attempt, I think?
i keep the content quality high not obsess over the formatting turn on text to speech and it will sound like we are talking i use speech to text to post my comments sorry if that bothers you
Is there a reason you need to use speech to text? I'm not trying to be nosy, and if there is (like, limited vision or whatever) I'm sure we can all adapt. You don't need to tell us what the reason is, but you can just tell us you need to use speech-to-text and we can leave you alone. In the absence of a reason, though... could you not bend to community standards on this one? It's harder to get to your content if we're having to sort through the rest.
if you equate spag to quality then yes. i consider the ideas and information as the content. in a formal situation my writing is formal and my editors will impose their personal preferences on what i wrote in INformal situations i prefer to use speech to text and not worry about formatting but rather concentrate on ideas and information content
i use all that is necessary for formal writing when i write formal documents turn on text to speech if you prefer it sounding like we are talking because i am talking to speech to text to post
After wasting a few hours setting up my laptop, it was a pointless exercise. I don't like yelling at my computer. Madness has it's limits.
