Why did you pick Writing forums as your writing forum?

Mine is the familiar google story as well. Almost two years ago now, which was when I was really becoming serious about writing, I googled something to the effect of 'writing forum' and this forum was one of the top search results. So I came here, looked around, liked what I saw and signed up asap. Not only it has a great, professional yet easy to use and navigate design and interface, the community here is really great as well. People are friendly, helpful, conversations and discussions are civil and informative the majority of the time. And as others have already said there's no pretension about the people here, it's a friendly, relaxed environment where you feel comfortable about asking questions and seeking help.
