I forget who said it first, but the more common a fetish is, the less likely it is to be recognized as one.

Mention you have a thing for blond(e)s, and nobody bats an eyelash. Mention you have a thing for amputees, and everyone goes quiet.

Until you explain that it's only for blond(e) amputees, freakish (because of their hair color) brunettes need not apply, and then there's a wave of relieved laughter and everyone is friends again...

    It's like a man with a horse.

Except he has to know how to handle the horse. Otherwise it's just goofy.

I don't know who the lady is, but there's one quibble I have with this picture.

The muzzle of the rifle is touching the deck. Now, this may not be a general rule, but after driving the muzzle of my rifle deep into the sand while falling spider-dropping off a building in Combat Town, my drill instructor gave me about a hundred reasons to never let the muzzle hit the dirt.

Strangely enough, they all started out like this:

(no, that's just a stock image)

    But the lesson has stuck.

    Same here.
I find absolutely nothing sexy about a married woman.

    That's not fair!
I've static-line jumped from a single engine plane, taught myself to scuba dive, and grew up riding motorcycles... I am scared to death of horses. They're like big stupid dogs, and they can sense fear!

After my longtime girlfriend and I broke up for the final time (3 years ago), I tried the "trial" run at one of the big sites... what silly nonsense. The profiles are so ridiculous, really now, is every woman in a book club, donating time at the local animal shelter, and enjoys nature walks and working out?

If you're gay or ace, that's unsurprising.

If you're straight and single, it's admirable.

If you're straight and married, that's pretty sad...

I don't know, but it might be that most chicks are more impressed by a motorcycle than a smelly horse (their words, not mine! Horses don't smell...).

Conversely, I've always been scared of depths, drowning, and diving...

I did learn to scuba-dive though, and turned out it's awesome. :ohno:

I think competence at just about anything, especially something unusual (like, not playing video games or something) is pretty sexy.

And physical competence is nice because you can imagine other ways that person might be good at using his/her body...

I don't much care about how the other person looks. I focus on trying to get myself fit, not worrying about someone else who may be leagues beyond me.

Well, I can't speak for other girl's profiles but mine don't quite sound like that

Never laugh at my jokes: it only encourages me to make more, and my best friends will be very disappointed if you overthrow all their hardwork out of politeness or surprise. There you are; you've been warned~

I'm artsy but not committed. I dabble in the creative, but am frustratingly not dedicated to a single pursuit. I can come off intellectual (or outright captious) over text but in person am playful, silly, simplistic. I love to laugh, and enjoy the ridiculous.

I have eclectic tastes in literature, films, theatre, music, et cetera. I like story telling in most mediums and adore well executed art

Saying "hi" or "you're pretty" or "let's meet" in no way qualifies as conversation.

I oddly assume everyone is capable of three complete sentences, at least one of which shows interest in my character or having engaged with some part of my profile

    I’m really good at:
    Tripping without full out falling
    Critical analysis
    Seducing women
Jerry-rigging or creative short term solutions
Eating chocolate Haagen Daas icecream as if I've just discovered heaven
    Dad jokes
I also say that I live & work on my family's ranch, am definitely over weight for my size, and am absolutely rubbish at math

Then on my list of likes, I have about 20 pieces of literature, 35 individual songs in various genres & languages, 6 television shows, and 12 films of different genres & countries

I keep getting matched with boys who are fitness buffs—that say they want girls who are fit & go to the gym.

I'm all "hey, I'm can-carry-a-book-case-down-a-flight-of-stairs-&-help-load-it-into-a-truck kinda fit, but you will never catch me in a gym.

Also, as I'm very protective of my muscles, I've ensured to coat them evenly in a protective layer of soft plushness for safety."

Although recently I'm starting to get matched with really beautiful women & have got messaged by a few

Hindsight, probably shouldn't've put seducing women as a skillset

I once heard someone describe themselves as 'built for comfort, not for speed'. They were quite Marilyn Monroe-esque in appearance and I must fess to directing a short mental movie, you know, so I could more easily remember the phrase.

I need to grow a foot, gain some massive muscles, and be super rich.

I guess being 5ft 8, and 130 pounds is not exactly desirable. Neither
is being a Sci-fi writer. But I do have hair that some women envy. :p
Screw it, I don't need nobody. I have my cave, and live in simplicity.

I'm curious, what do you consider Marilyn Monroe-esque?

I only ask because I find people have varying opinions of her size/shape

I think her rather skinny yet well endowed. It gave her a nice S-curve

Without googling, I have her in the realms I'd consider 'voluptuous' —maybe my brain's added some, so as to fit my particular persuasion.

Oh, as an aside (a slightly random thought), someone with a greater fixation than mine took to a loft with some artists' pencils, a black and white pic, and a 5yr life-hiatus. In that time he drew her—in the finest detail ever, just from the neck up and with only his photo for reference. The resolution when it was finally revealed was measured at 1200dpi and the artwork, albeit in monotone, was visually stunning.

Billy Pappas was the man wot that drew her. (not sure I've spelt his name right)

It could be the time period in question for her size, cause I know she fluctuated between 117-140lbs

Being between 5'5-5'6 (depending on sources), I can see her in the heavier period being seen as voluptuous and in her lighter times being skinny blessed with assets

The first three illustrate the image of more slender that usually pops to my mind

But the other three definitely show her filling out more

Aw, thanks for pimping her out to me. I'd swipe right on them all (on arriving in paradise) but I'll take the middle bottom if pressed to choose. < came out wrong. Yes though, you're right; there's a fair bit of fluctuation there. I've a biased memory it seems.

In return, a bit of Billy :) :
