Since I'm really fed up of this story being in my head, I'm gonna bite the bullet and try to launch it tonight or tomorrow morning. I'm gonna simplify the back story too if it was a bit confusing :/

Anyone interested in a murder mystery rp? Story: Early one cold Seattle morning, popular but troublesome twenty one year old Toby Shaw is found brutally murdered. Toby's reputation was far from sqeaky clean and so it seems anyone would be guilty of wanting to hurt the boy. Weeks later another victim is found, killed the same way Toby was. The victim was a friend of Toby's but was well liked among their peers. What once was a peaceful quiet place to live has quickly been transformed into a place of fear. No one is safe anymore. Seems like a nice rp @Commander Caty . I see that you are new to the forums, so welcome! I'm not an expert or anything, but I would advise adding some more details and info and a backround when you make a rp, it tends to hook a reader and interested party in joining. Only advice, however/
lix's game after long Hiatus Quick Summary I’m still building the story, but the setting of the game goes like this. ----------------------- People who live in a perfect society with no room to mistake, a Utopia which is suddenly brought down by an unspeakable force. It remains to the heroes of this tale to save its world. However soon they would realize how much deep their journey is in real, saving their world suddenly becames a small speck within the great plans of destiny. ----------------------- The players would engage in a quest which will involve traveling to alternate spaces or dimensions, parallel realities with their own worlds, societies, laws, etc. The starting point would be their homeland, yet as the story advances they would find themselves in other worlds. I want to give the players certain freedom regarding the aspects of other worlds. ------------------------- The First World: The starting point of the game and where each character belong to. This one is a high technological advanced society with elements proper of cyberpunk and fantasy. The society is a fake Utopia or more likely enforcered Utopia. Characters: Each character will be a citizen of the starting realm, their role will be freely chosen by the player, but each one will unmistakable be part of the important events. The race is as well freely chosen. You can be human, perhaps a cyborg or a full complete robot. You can also take the other option and pic creatures proper of fantasy worlds. In short feel free to pic any race you feel like (As long as doesn’t break the game) Their background is also of free will though limited to the first world. The beginning point of the story will be in media res. Hence I’ll give you chances to write flashbacks of how your character became part of the events unfolded. Also you can previously build any kind of relationship with any other character from another player (Of course talking bout that in first hand Xd) I’ll give you the chance to give skills and attributes to your characters. So far I plan each one to have Access to one kind of magic, an advanced artifact and a weapon. But all this can be talked. Due to the nature of the game, in some ocassions, certain aspects regarding the skillset may be temporary modified. "Example if you travel to a world where the concept of magic does not exist, you won't be able to use magical skills temporary" --------------------------- Those who already know me, can expect a very twisted and mindscrewing plot. Any sugerence or doubt?
Now I am off uni, I've started working on something new, hoping that it will attract players. For a brief preview, a map and the genre is fantasy with technology level to the Regency period. Spoiler: Map

Well the thought crossed my mind. But if I will it will be less of a worldbuilding rp (because hopefully we'll already have a world) and more of an epic high fantasy traditional game.
The idea of a story set in that world could be interesting. The other option is that we have the ending be like Ragnarok, where the world restarts.
