I've been thinking, and I think the best way to explain Nyx's... absence... would be, I guess, she used her Hyperfocus spell and focused on sleeping? and in the chaos, everyone sorta... forgot? Once I'm free again, I'll have her catch up with the rest. >_> Again, I'm super sorry, guys. School's been kicking me in the ass lately, and I just barely pulled my math grade up to a 'b'. Sounds fine to me. I was thinking if everyone could get to Nora right now, then she could teach you all a new spell before the next fight begins.
Finally thought up a new spell for Joe, wanted to run it past the GM before I post anything. Barrier (Someone early on mentioned the Incredibles and that clearly stuck with me) Joe creates a rounded shield from the palm of one or both hands. The shield is deflective, sending anything that strikes it sliding off. It can be a mostly flat, rounded shield or expanded into a full dome/sphere around themselves(this requires both hands and no movement). The shield's maximum size is about ten feet in diameter, but that's at the very highest upper limit. Requires full concentration on Joe's part, so they can't do it while healing or phasing. (Invisibility ok, but the shield is always visible anyway.) They can create one shield from each hand, but one made from both is much stronger. They can create/extend the spell to protect something a few feet away, but the farther the distance, the harder it is to maintain. I'm also just going to have Joe start saying their spells when they use them to make it more obvious when they're being invisible and/or intangible. ...Probably should've been doing that to begin with. ^^; ----- EDIT: I wound up posting without using the new spell after all. If it comes up, I guess Joe just hasn't got the hang of that one yet.

I'm pretty sure Nora won't be teaching Andreas anything new! Can we just say that his current powers get stronger over time as he practices?
@AnonyMouse, that sounds fine to me. I trust your judgment. @Lone Vista, I approve, we could use a shield person. @Silent Lion, I'll have the Dark Queen give you a magical boost. You can decide how it affects Andreas. And Alex's new spell is: Infernal Scythe: The blade of this ancient relic is imbued with fire from the River Styx. Whatever it touches is reduced to ashes and it can also send out a wave of flames to incinerate enemies or obstacles.

Finally posted. Sorry for the delay, everyone. Here's Samara's updated grimoire. Null Field (a.k.a. that spell she hasn't used yet, lol) is now known as Energy Drain and can be directed at a specific, close range target, instead of affecting a radius; it still saps kinetic energy and force, thus slowing the target's movements and weakening physical attacks. Last Bastion is now called Forge and has dramatically improved Samara’s ability to create things other than armor. Just like her armor, these creations can absorb the kinetic energy of anything that strikes them and use it to counterattack, though some energy is lost when converting from one item to another and all is lost when the item is destroyed. Focus Fire is now known as Link and pretty much works the same way it always has, but has increased range. Excalibur is still Excalibur, but no longer requires an incantation or a flat surface for the summoning ring; it can now be summoned in mid-air. Its other requirements remain the same, so it can still only be summoned in situations it deems worthy.
