When social protocol demands I offer something I have no inclination myself to share, I verbally make the offer while using a tone & making an expression that clearly says that I am very sad to be parted with this offering and this is a grand concession & sacrifice on my part to fulfill the mores of society

Generally they feel so badly for me that I would go to such lengths to deny myself, when clearly it means so much more to me than it does to them and I am heartbroken at the thought of losing it, that they adamantly decline and assure me I can have it all to myself, at which I instantly am flooded with relief and immediately pep up, rapidly consuming whatever perishable is in my possession before they can think better of the situation and my manipulation of their better natures.

    There is no context.

Namir just sat like that and I ended up taking a selfie of him because he's a dork.

Who in the blazes was vandelsand, and why were they writing on my wall asking me to
collaborate with them? They joined today and were banned today as well. Really makes
me wonder what the hell they wanted to collab with me for, and who they pissed off
to get banned the same day they joined.

I smell a conspiracy theory or something...The Truth Is Out There...:D

Posting directly to member profiles, unsolicited, right off the bat, is defo spambot behavior. They come in all forms, the little buggers. Lately the old-school kind that are just programs in a server somewhere chucking out bajillions of member accounts have fallen out of favor and spammers are employing human meat-puppets instead.

    .... le sigh

Anyway... I'm back at my own house in the country.

The order and tidiness is drug-like.

It feels like happiness slipping into my veins.

And this particular high is totally legal, so no complaints from the peanut gallery!

Well, it must be summer. Saw my first flotilla of canoers/tubers pass by the house. Time to pull out my lawn chair, John Deere hat, and guitar and start playing "Dueling Banjos."

(Not a joke... this is how I get my kicks)

Thought about it. I'd be more inclined to use the real thing. Last summer some dipshit got out of his canoe, climbed halfway up the bank (an easy 50 feet and too steep to climb without some fancy footwork), and dropped his pants to take a shit. I was sitting on my deck looking down at him, waited for him to squat and yelled, "I know you're not trying to take a shit on my property!" This punk ran so fast he tripped over his pants and rolled down the bank back into river.

    I'm a cat whisperer.

Which would be great, you know, if my cat didn't take whispering as a sign of aggression. . .

I'm a barnacle whisperer. At least, I think I am - with barnacles, it's hard to tell.

Anyway, being a barnacle whisperer is about as useful as you imagine it is.

I'm just a regular whisperer. I've found that if you only talk to people in a low pitched, personal space invading whisper, eventually they stop trying to converse entirely.

It's saved me tons of time and spared me countless 'small talk' scenarios.

Hey, that's a great idea! And if you invest in a bullhorn, you can shut entire crowds of people up at once!

I thought about it but the bullhorn guy gets the cops called on him, the whisper guy is just watched really closely around parks and school zones.

you have to wonder don't you -- if the "designer" was any good why would he depend on spam to sell his services.... or was it just a click on this link and catch a nasty virus type deal ?

Stupid people ... its like the 419 scams, you'd have to be pretty special to fall for them, but people must do or they wouldnt do it.

Spam is a mass shotgun approach.. they put out thousands of messages, especially on forums with big memberships and hope for the best
