Another pic supplied by my taxi driving friend. Neighbourhood Watch, Belfast style.

We're classier here — we'd have Banksy spray up something showing a young McCauley Culkin holding the Spear of Destiny.

lol... It's not just a matter of class, it's basic economics. Nails cost less than bullets. My theory is that the local paramilitaries are instituting their own brand of austerity measures. The DUP would be proud. (Whilst outwardly condemning. ) ;)

Nope. I remember when my Okie husband and I moved into the area I'm in now, the first paramilitary act he became aware of was the very one the grafitti is threatening. Some 15/16 yr old kid was grabbed and nailed to a fence. He saw the cops and ambulance crew freeing him while he was on his way back from work. Not an ideal welcome to the place he was to call home for the next 10 years. :(

These little herbaceous testicles are passion fruit. We call them parcha where I live. I'm stoked that they finally arrived this year after waiting for this vine to grow, but I'm sad that I wasn't paying attention and totally missed their flowering. Passion fruit flowers are like Science Fiction.

This picture is from the woods behind the house:

This picture is just from the internet, but these are what the flowers look like:

    Okay, let me try again.

That's not a saddle, that's a comfy seat (which happens to be strapped to a horse.) :D

For me... none at all. I can quite clearly see the virtues of a high cantle and horn. My riding instructor, however, was a dour, middle-aged English woman with a permanent sneer who was all about poise, rather than comfort or practicality. I'd like to have seen her try to tie a steer to her English saddle's pommel. ;) Seriously though, I love western saddles.

I know. I know. I know. But I was way too excited that my mask came in for my Haunt character and felt like showing it off. This was his promo proto gear I wore last year, with the mask I got in today. I still have things coming in, one being his more SWAT looking vest and a tactical sweater. Then I am going to be sewing patches onto his sweater with his name. But....I wanted to share. And too shy to show a real face.

[IMG] We was perusing the joke shops of Edinburgh, I said 'honey, go get yourself a plastic nose and spectacles, match it with a pair of Roman sandals. Then we find ourselves the nearest unsuspecting Scottishman, we take a photograph.'

'Heh heh, heh heh heh,' she said, 'a fine master plan.'

    ...

So, here's the result. Most successful, I hope you agree.

Got to meet Jordan Peterson a few weeks ago in Toronto! A wonderful and serious guy. Reminds me how my lovely grandmother would never smile in pictures. xD

I don't actually know what a Jordan Peterson is, but from your comment, I'm guessing he's not the one in pink :)

Yeah he's the other guy. Definitely recommend checking out some of his stuff on YouTube. His lectures are as great as his defending of free speech.

This is a quick rendering of a pic I took on my hols of my host's sheepdog, Captain. Crafty brute stole my brekkie one morning while I wasn't looking.

    Oh Captain, my Captain..jpg
This is a pic of a 14th Century Friary, just outside of Kilconnell, Galway.

    friary 14thC-frame.jpg

And this one, I took for @KaTrian, since she's shown us pics of Finnish ponies...this is one of our indigenous Connemara's. They make great show ponies, ideal for dressage and the like, but they are equally at home galloping, breakneck, through the tide in the pouring rain, which is just as well since it rains a lot.

    pony.jpeg

    Some local flora.

And finally, the view from my tent.
