Random Thought Thread

Be feel. It takes a bit of practice, but after a while
you learn to feel for the rough patches and missed
spots. I assume that is how blind men shave.

I've been doing this little project for about a week now. Mashers and Moose have been immensely helpful today, tho.

 

Unless you have a very specific style, I've never understood the need for a mirror when shaving the face. I go military-reg clean-shaven, and have been shaving in the shower for decades. It also ensures that you never have any leftover bits of foam behind your earlobes or whatever.

Let me guess: the thought was, why don't I grow a beard?

 

Turkey. They love their street cats there, Istanbul was wonderful for that.

 

Yep, yep, yep! I always shave in the shower. I have a heavy beard. I need the softening process that the shower gives. If I just do it over the sink, tragedy.

 

More along the lines of : Why can't I grow a beard without bare patches.

 

I can't wait for winter so I can stop shaving my legs for six months.

T-shirt bras are the best.

So soft & comfy.

Although I much prefer Calvin Klein's line for them over Victoria's Secret's.

 

Question: if I bump my Colonial Mystery to the period after the American Revolution, circa 1790s, it wouldn't be considered colonial, correct?

I may buy brand names, but they tend to be from discount outlet stores. Like at Nordstrom Rack most bras are under $30 (and they've got Natori AND Wacoal, which are fairly high quality for so cheap).

 

No, that's reserved for fantasy only. I think there's a rule on it: "Must have dragons, and your wizard must be this^ tall to ride". Come to the darkside, Troll...we have jiggle.

 

Okay, now I'm confused. I thought you were referring to "bra t-shirts" like the ones Uniqlo sells. Here's a picture of one inside out:



They're best suited, I suspect, to women of, well, traditionally Asian proportions, but it seems that "t-shirt bras" are different from "bra t-shirts".

 

And I thought it might be one of those jogging bras without cups.

Apparently it's a fairly conventional bra that's designed to have no seams or bumps under a close-fitting t shirt. I suspect I should have known this.
