Rik Mayall was a genius. Bottom Live shows 1-4 were awesome.
May I say what a smashing blouse you have on?

Was the one you had awhile back him too? The dude with the towel over his head? I thought it was Bob Newhart:

There's no time for that! The Queen's coming round and somebody has got to clean the lavatory!

That was Richie as The Virgin Mary.

R: Crikey o trousers Eddie, it certainly looks powerful enough. What does it actually do, this, this, this, this firewooork?
E: Well, now you see, what we do is, we press the plunger here.
    R: Yes?
    E: Right, and the firework
    R: Yes?
E: It flies outta the window
    R: Outta the window
E: It flies outta the window
    R: Outta the window
    E: And then
    R: Yes?
    E: Then
    R: Yes yes?
    E: Then
    R: Yes yes yes?
    E: THEN!
R: Yes, yes yes yes YES UUUUUUUUUGHHHHORIGN;LSKDN

Rik's reaction, which I obiously can't type out properly, makes this scene for me!

Picture of String Lake in Grand Teton National Park I took this June... Because it's pretty... and I wish I never had to leave.

She is a cute pink mermaid, can you not tell? Cuteness needs no explanation.

Although, I would change it out occasionally or use a higher quality pic if I were not so lazy.

Oh thank the gods, I've been wondering for a while about your profile picture and for some reason I never go around to asking you about it. Mystery solved! :D

As for me, my profile pic is of one of my MCs in my WIP novel. Her name's Anna and she's a 3 century old vampire.

Placid isn't a word I'd use to describe her. Tbh this pic isn't a super accurate and detailed representation of her, it's more of a simplified version of how she looks. Actual Anna is a lot more playful and she usually has twinkle in her eyes, she's genuinely cheerful and friendly most of the time, that is 'till you piss her off. Then you're fucked. She can be really hotheaded at times.

She's kinda of a contradictory character in a lot of ways; gentle and kind-hearted, yet ruthless and violence loving, relaxed yet hot-headed. super fun to hang out with, and yet kinda dangerous. Easygoing and chill yet usually the dominant one in her relationships.

My profile picture... It's a shit Wii U game called The Letter. It's bad--one of the worst. I don't know why I chose it, I just did. It doesn't matter.

    http://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/the-letter-wii-u

I'm going to change it soon or now.

An eccentric architect client of mine who never ceases to inspire me sent me the photoshopped pic in my profile. He had just finished designing a residence for seniors in the the northern suburbs of Montreal and I was inevitably envisioning myself in 25 years or so chasing women down the plush hallways and either dying in their arms or at best letting go of my ghost while trying to catch them. Apparently, viagra has become an issue to be reckoned with in these houses built for those who have the resources to be the next comfortably doomed zoomer generation to exit.

I love taking photos, especially where nature takes over dilapidated buildings - this was a photo I took wandering through a cemetery.

Because I'm way too chicken IRL and being a writer is a way not to be quite so. Chicken, I mean.

Yes, I see. But that doesn't explain what those . . . things . . . are on his head. In thumbnail it looks like a couple slices of pizza. But seen bigger they appear to be fish. Or eels. Or something. Is Rik meditating on the fish, or are the fish meditating on him?

They're fish, and I don't think they have any reason to be there. Rik liked the absurd. :D
