    Made men or Russian KGB?

Discussion in 'Plot Development' started by Kevin Teichman, Aug 23, 2017.

I was thinking about a winter story I could write this December, here's my idea.

The main character (myself) and his German Queen, Katja, decide to go to the German town part of Apache Springs. A new-age Russian KGB wants to get revenge on KT, and they don't like Germans.

So they come after them, particularly Katja, and try to get her sent off to Siberia. KT has to go John Wick and prevent this from happening.

This is just an idea. Good? Bad? Terrible?

Confusing. Is she a real German "queen," as in a monarch, or is it a term of endearment? Who's KT? What do made men have to do with it? What's a new age KGB (they haven't been called that since 1992, I think).

When I emerged from John Wick my wife was nowhere to be seen. My first thought was damn those hippy KGB, they stole my wife. Cross me and they cross the colossus that is my fury.

It's a good idea, but write it now, not in December.

Didn't finish my first post. My fault there.

She is a queen, but not a crown-wearing monarch that rides in a carriage or anything. They rule over AS (Apache Springs), a fictional "kingdom" made up of numerous territories and real cities. My friend has his own version of it, and they're tied together into to what's called the "neutral world" and there's a lot of stories produced out of this. Stories, events, conflicts, etc.. I'm trying to keep the explanation somewhat short otherwise it would take a whole page to explain it all.

I mentioned made men in the title because I was going to write (but forgot to) in the post that this next story could be either a conflict between them or a new KGB.

And that leads me to the next part, the "new age KGB" is just a made up organization in the story made up of old soviet KGB agents with ex Spetsnaz guys as their field agents. Totally fictional.

I just say December because there is a lot coming up that is going to consume 90% or more of my time.
