Me too! :) I have to admit it's a little nerve wracking, because my first book which was very well received definitely had more of a good guy/bad guy dynamic between the two MCs. Nate in fact was such a lovable dude I was initially concerned he might be veering into Mary Sue/Gary Stu territory. Zachary was the bad guy, but only in the sense that he was an emotionally distant egomaniac in the beginning.

So I don't think those readers will be expecting my follow up to be two VERY bad guys who start out only valuing their own individual lives, and each only wind up adding one person to that number by the end. Basically the question I'm asking my readers is "Can you root for a couple of guys who would cheerfully kill you or your loved ones in a heartbeat?"

    Stay tuned...

It's an Ensemble Cast. Thus it switches Main POVs. He has one of his own POVs and that where I would emphasize it.

How much research have you done about how to do so?

A lot. I never actually start to write stuff like this until I have done my research. Reading scientific articles. Reading psychological reports. Reading first hand accounts from men who were victims of woman sexually assaulting them.

I hate the type of writer who doesn't do all the research, look into all the details, ask the right questions, and just writes complete and utter bullshit. I try to nail details, while also doing a bit of suspension of disbelief though born through realistic research and scientific exploration.
