I don't know why, but for some reason I've always loved playing tigers/lions/ferals in RPG's. I've played World of Warcraft, and was able to play a flamin' kitten! Hearthstone brought some amazing art from this, which this is.
I had wanted an avatar picture since first joining this forum, but couldn't seem to content myself with any picture other than my WIP novel's main character. One day after many months of bugging, my brother finally drew one for me. So . . . that's him right there <--- Artistic brothers are awesome .
Mine is supposed to be a scene from one of my favorite novels, Cormac McCarthy's The Road. I honestly just looked up "the road" on Google Images, and chose this one. I'm not sure if the artist intended this to be a scene from that book, but it sure looks like it!
Mine is just a picture of Melanie Safka. I might change it to something a little more interesting at some point, but this is good for now. I like Melanie. Edit: Outdated, has since changed.
Mine's a selfie that I ran through a couple of filters and cropped so you couldn't see the stall hinges behind me and know it was taken in a public bathroom. Looks more professional this way
Mine’s a painting I did for charity, hoping to sell a few horror pictures over Halloween to raise a little for Guide Dogs for the Blind... Then I realised nobody wants to buy horror pictures, not even for Halloween. So he’s been reduced to an avatar. It’s fair enough, I suppose... when it comes to Halloween, all I want is roast turkey. Or is that Easter?...
The Taoist "philosophy" is what helped me change my life for the better, and overcome a mountain of obstacles. I will always feel indebted to Laozi. Taoism is amongst my favorite religions.
I did a sketch portrait last night that I figured would make a better profile pic than the Melanie stock photo.
I wanted a Hallowe'en avatar so I put my headshot through an online filter thing. I think it came out well.
Just a mugshot from when I had a lot of my hair cut off in April, I still maintain this style somewhat, just the shorts a little longer than I'd like, as I'm at uni and have no access to clippers to manage it myself (because I totally would)
