I mean, I wrote the following Facebook post that may or may not be relevant... Tom Petty's learning to fly into the great wide open. Guess he won't be comin' round here no more. ...Sorry, he probably wouldn't want me to do him like that. The very definition of "too soon," I do believe?
Fudge, the dartmoor zoo syrian brown bear (okay so its not big news, but I liked her) https://www.dartmoorzoo.org.uk/goodbye-fudge/

Dennis Banks died on the 29th of pneumonia at 80 years of age. As he said of the American Indian Moment; some people loved him, some people hated him, but nobody ignored him. http://www.legacy.com/news/celebrity-deaths/notable-deaths/article/dennis-banks-1937-2017-co-founder-of-the-american
Roy Halladay died in a plane crash yesterday. One of the MLB's greatest modern-day pitchers...I don't think I ever saw him pitch at a game I went to, but as a Phillies fan I'll never forget the perfect game and the no-hitter, and his contribution to some of the best years of Phillies baseball in recent memory. I'm sure Toronto fans are likewise feeling pretty down. http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/21331438/roy-halladay-40-dies-plane-crash-gulf-mexico

Della Reese died the other day too. I guess not being a homocidal mental case cast her to a back burner in the media. She was 86.
Wow, Cassidy was 67... thought he'd have been younger. Didn't realize he was in his 20s for the Partridge Family.
My Sis and I cleaned the kitchen after Thanksgiving dinner while blasting "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" and singing the chorus at the top of our lungs in honor of his passing. (One of these days I'm getting video of Sis screeching "High VOLTAGE!!!") R.I.P.
