It is crazy to think about all the things that went the way of the Doh Doh,
but you can still buy music on vinyl and record players.
I have a two record copy of Korn Take a Look in the Mirror.
Seems records will still be a thing for quite some time.
So you can enjoy modern music in genuine mono sound. :D

Ne-Yo is so sexy that sometimes I wish he were gay, so I could have a smooth, black, fat-lipped sugar daddy who would sing me to sleep.

A couple of months ago I bought one of those La-Z-Boy recliner chairs with a power lift feature (pretty much necessary for a guy with bad knees, like me). This damn chair is so comfortable that I don't think I've yet been able to sit in it without falling asleep. The number of movies and football games I've seen the first half of is getting big. The number of movies and football games I've seen all of is stubbornly holding at zero.

Another bookcase arrived, so I got to take some books out of boxes

Namir is so happy it's here.

Actually, he knew something was up & got upset the day I started packing my novels.

He knows me too well. . .

I love having an excuse to put a 6ft tree in my living room for a month. I wish it could be Christmas every day.

    Better known as faux-fir trees...

ETA: I'm indebted to one of the finalists (sic!) in The Apprentice...

Somebody: "There's loads of fir trees."
Her: "Are fur trees a thing?"

Fun fact; it's an Australian tradition to serve sausage sizzle (barbequed sausages and onions with bread) at or near where they've seet up the polls. We call it a Democracy Sausage. It is one of our finer customs.:D

Fine get a real tree from the nursery, don't wanna hear about having to
rake up your living room. (Maybe you could get a mini Palm Tree. :)

They're all non-drop now! Even when I dragged it through the house into the living room, there wasn't a single pine needle on the carpet.

I remember ones from my childhood though... one shake and you had a large twig draped with fairy lights.

So, Alabama elected a Democrat to the Senate... what in the name of God is going on down there @Link the Writer? Somebody spike the water with mescaline or something?

(side note: this development is a-okay with me, but that's Twilight Zone material as far as American politics goes)

    Also...

...So basically Goku and the other Saiyans and half-Saiyans have 'S'-cells in their bodies that control whether or not they can become Super Saiyans.

...Not sure how I like having the powers of my all-time favorite anime heroes dwindled like this...

Now I understand how Star Wars fans felt about the Force being dwindled to 'midichlorians'...

... I'm gonna curl up in a corner now.

Don't worry, something like 73% of the white men in Alabama still voted for Moore, the state hasn't gone all Portland or anything.

Something about a text predictive bot having been fed all seven books of the Harry Potter series and spitting out this beauty of a chapter.

I can't breathe and I am okay with that.

Interestingly, I really love the revising portion of my new job.

There is something so fun and satisfying about taking a jumbled, inarticulate mess and making it cohesive, comprehensive, and nearly perfect.

It's that satisfaction high you get when the precise, perfect word that's been tauntingly dangling from the tip of your tongue finally lights up in your brain.

Only with legal documents & correspondences written by English-as-a-Second/Third-Language speakers.

Everything else here is less fun.
