Oh goodness, my main rpg group is sooo bad about puns! My best ones are usually based on Japanese though. It's a great language for puns I swear. A little french slips in too due to out local culture. "I think I have an inkling of an idea on how to catch the kraken!" This is the only entirely English based one I can recall at the moment.
Regarding the marvel sybiote; I would gladly give up some adrenaline for the ability to goo through a wall. Wouldn't goo?
