Not Canada, but plus 40 in NH, which is 60 degrees warmer than this time last week. Shit is actually melting...

-2C here, so 28 or 29f. That's a real rarity in this town.

So I might not technically have a job at the moment, but:

    ALMOST WEEKEND!

If I'm lucky I'll get an answer about the job-thing tomorrow. If I'm even luckier the answer will be positive. Then I won't have to worry at all this weekend. I case of luck I'll probably start the 22:nd- so I'll have an entire stress free week before I begin.

    I really, really need this!

We'll have to respectfully disagree on that one. It got really hot there last summer/ early fall. Also, it's waaaaaaaay too far from everything I like to do.

Couldn't sleep so I spent all night submitting short stories. I had been slacking a little with my submissions, but now things are getting back on track. I think this makes me happy. It will make me real happy if one of these stories sell for big money. :)

This beast of a furniture used to be a "heirloom" in my ex's family.
Since our last apartment was too small my parents have been keeping this in storage for the past two/three years. When I was kicked out of the apartment we asked him to come get it but he refused - said he didn't want any of the furniture they'd been storing.

Thought it was a pity to throw it away, so now it's mine

    I love that movie!
I'm slightly embarrassed to say that it's in my top 5 musicals...

As someone with hearing impairment, it makes me happy to find out the name of the man who invented sign language. Abbe Charles-Michel de l'Épée.

For perspective: From Sept 27, 2017 until Jan 5, 2018 I have been living in a 24 ft camper that only had one slide out. I was living in it with my parents, our six dogs, and a rabbit. My bed was smaller than a twin, I'm 5'10", and I shared with my dogs. Quarters were cramped and relaxing, for me (as someone who is introverted and needs time alone to relax), was difficult. I couldn't even read I was so wound up.

Today, not even five minutes ago, I finished a book! I'm happy that I finally had time to read and relax! I haven't read a book since I left Wyoming! I never go that long without reading (I read anywhere between four and eight books a month)!

And I finished The Martian today! It's such a great feeling!

Downloaded Dark Souls 3 last night in a PS4 sale... deluxe edition down to £25....

Really looking forward to starting it later on, even though it looks tough, and I'm rubbish at those games ha.

How good is Dark Souls? Looking for a good game, but can't seem to find any.

I only play FIFA (rarely) and Battlefield 1.

TIP - If you value your health and wellbeing, don't ever touch FIFA. EVER...

From what I've played of the original one, it's amazing! However, it is also extremely hard. I would suggest moving all breakable objects out of the room before you begin playing.

AHAHAHA, already done. I'll rephrase myself - I play FIFA. A rage fest from the first minute to the last. Every item of importance or fragility has been shipped off somewhere I'll never be able to break them. :D

You might as well ask how good is cheese. :D

Dark Souls 3 is the best intro to the series though if you have PS4, get Bloodborne. Dark Souls 1 is my favorite but if I were you, I’d wait for the remaster.

Seconded. Game is fun but annoying as hell. Like, deliberately as annoying as hell, which I imagine is what the designers intended.
