I made that joke with my husband that our three cats better not stand still or they'll wind up sousvided!
Psyche! (Or, Jinx! Whichever you shouted as a kid when people said the same thing at the same time.) You and @Homer Potvin have me seriously considering sous vide steak, though. I'm immune impaired, and no longer having to take steak to 160F would considerably change my food life.
Oooh, I never thought about that, but I think that would definitely be an option for you. You might want to check with your doctor just to be sure, but based on the science-based articles I've read, you'd be just as safe eating a 130 degree steak sous vide'd for an hour as you would a 160 degree one cooked on the grill for 10 minutes.
As a fan of both Pink Floyd and The Dead Milkmen, I've really got no room to criticize. But I can still giggle.
Edit: Oh My! Must have been spaced out because I thought I was posting this in the Happiness Thread. My apologies. Mixed bag: My TV remote was failing, half the channel buttons failed so I had to get creative to get to certain channels like hitting 282 then quickly upping the channel to 331 so hitting return will still get to the original 661 or whatever channel I was on. I don't watch TV without a heavy dose of channel surfing. So I got a new remote and yay, all the channel buttons work. There was a bonus, this one controls on/off and volume. With the other one I had to use a different remote for those functions. But it turns out 'last' as in the last channel you were on doesn't work with this one, so I'm still using two remotes.
This is my new dishwasher, which was delivered on January 6th but I finally finished installing it last night. It's noisier and slower than my old one, but it gets the dishes clean and its racks aren't rusting out. And .... it sits level, unlike the old one. So, yay.
You sound a bit like my ex-mother-in-law. I did notice the floors, they looked almost like real walnut plank, but I did not think they were real wood. Seems the vinyl plank is getting much better at imitating the appearance.
I am not accustom to Dr. Who, but Travertine is a natural stone tile. Lovely shades of beige and browns I might add.
Meh, I guess I could put up a recent one. Taken today with the Canon. I usually wear glasses but I have to remove them when I go into Calvin Klein mode.
Brother currently in and out of hospital for check-ups following a liver transplant, so I occasionally end up with their family dog for the day. This is him, and the field we were on.
Started re-vamping my browser's theme yesterday. So far I'm really happy with it, but it still needs some tweaks:
