First must determine what normality is, only then can we determined what is abnormal. And by then will anyone care!

Simple pleasures, man. There's a time for over-complicating, over-thinking things. A night off from the wife ain't one of them.

I had a happy start to my day, my hands were full with coffee, purse, lunch, briefcase and laptop, I was fully loaded. A kind gentleman actually ran back out of his way and opened the door for me. With a smile he said "It looks like you have your hands full, here let me get the door for you." I was stunned, shocked you could have knocked me over with a feather.

It was such a nice gesture, it warmed my heart. If I was not married I would have chatted him up and went for coffee. So for all you single guys out there, try being a gentleman it helps to start a conversation. Finding a gentleman is a rare occurrence and will get you noticed. For all you gentlemen out there, thank you. :)

I stretched out in my own bed and slept. It was the best thing ever.

...this might be why I've only been on four dates in six years. I don't want to share my bed with anyone but my dogs, lol.

One of my bigger chickens loves to be pet and cuddled. She finally realized being picked up means love and she's so cute about it! It made for a good morning.

So excited! One of my Top 2 favorite movies of all time is on TCM tonight: Sunset Boulevard!

It's a small thing, but this makes me truly happy.

Oh, the snark of it! A truer statement about Hollywood has never been made.

A grocery run for popcorn is in order!!!

We got above freezing today and it looks like it's going to hold on.

The sun has been shinning bright in the past little while, so it is no longer blowing snow in my mind. Happy - alright then. I guess that it won't take as much effort as usual this spring for me to get my head out of my ass and I believe that it is a good thing. Having small desires is calming, at least for now. It feels good and easy, so I can certainly muster this gig in the days to come.

Just got done reading the thread "two arguments over book title" or whatever it was called. I thoroughly enjoyed it, is like reading a bad fanfiction or crappy pasta. Even ended with a quip and a death AKA a ban. And I did not see the multiple account angle coming!

Wreybies was the true hero of this story, is the Clint Eastwood of WF!

My mom's going to regret letting me name this chicken.

My life seems to revolve around chickens.

    Anyway...

It's sunny out! Yay! Also, I think I might just delve into Egyptology and screw the politics.

I can finally talk about Fae and Sacha. I've been dying to talk about them and their 'lovely' dynamics.

    It makes me happy, lol.

In the unhappy thread I just posted about a nightmare I had last night about an abusive ex-boyfriend, BUT there was something good about this dream that I feel belongs in this thread. My step-dad put on these fighting gloves made out of metal with these x-men looking claws on them and beat the hell out of that jerk! He was all cocky at first like he was going to win the fight. Before you know it, he was on the ground missing a bunch of teeth with a broken jaw. I usually wouldn't wish this kind of thing on anybody, but since it wasn't real and this guy pretty much put me through hell it made me feel a lot better. Made the dream more interesting too. My step-dad is awesome! He even protects me in my dreams!

I bought a cow last year and I just found out she came with a bonus: the cutest, tiniest calf ever! And it's a heifer.:)

Congratulations! Also, you're the first person I've ever "met" who has bought a cow.

Did you buy the cow as a pet or food, in any event you got a "2 for 1".:)

The cow's name is Annie and she cost one huge sack of magic beans, so she's a keeper. As for the calf that came with her, well... we're trying to be as self-sufficient as we can here. The heifer's a keeper too and a pet already. :)

So now you have a magic cow seed. Better plant it soon, and grow a magic cow tree. :D
