All the clichés jokes about people not being able to function without coffee. "Excuse the spelling mistakes but I haven't had coffee yet!" "Don't talk to me in the mornings before I've had coffee. I'm not yet human." "Authors are magical beings who can turn coffee into novels." IT'S A FUCKING BEVERAGE. GET OVER IT.
To be fair Cafeine a stimulant so may be they just aren't over their heavy night of downers until they've had some uppers
"I'm so addicted to this substance I refuse to let you interpret my actions as rational until I receive my substance. Please help."
I think I lost a job-opportunity by not drinking coffee! They looked at me like I was an alien when I told them I didn't drink it. The interview went amazingly after that - but I never heard from them again
"Forever homes" for pets. When you think about it, a shelter with a rapid and aggressive policy of euthanizing animals who don't get adopted is just as much of a forever home as a 3 bedroom house with 2.2 kids and a minvan, just on a shorter timescale.
Morning people who don't need coffee to function annoy me. Not sure whether they should or shouldn't.
Just to preface this, is in regard to YouTube comments and nothing on WF, since I don't even go into the Donald Trump trip. But here we go..... what annoys me, is that the world has it been f****** nuked already. Edit: I think what I'm really trying to say is YouTube comments annoy me!! LOL. But then again I think they annoy everyone.
I'm not a morning person. I just don't function. Annoyance of the day: People who flounce from messageboards and then come back as if nothing happened. Either don't flounce or stay away.
Tbh more often than not, when someone flounces, I totally see why they did. Frustration from being disrespected or mobbed, with the offenders then feigning self-righteous innocence. I mean, maybe flouncing isn't the best exit but it does make a point and I'm not sure the flouncers are always the ones who shouldn't be welcome back. But I'm sure it depends on which situations you happen to see.
most often when someone gets banned after a flounce there's more to it... e.g the most recent guy to launch the wahhhbulancce got banned when he started sending people abusive pms ( I know because I was one of the recipients of his charming and friendly missives)
"I'm not sure the flouncers are always the ones who shouldn't be welcome back" My point was that the flouncers are often the ones not welcomed back because of how they behave après flounce I'm with tenderiser - this is not an airport, there is no need to announce your departure
I guess their intention is to try and guilt people...which backfires horribly on the person announcing their departure.
I don't disagree about flouncing per se. However, as I said, mobbing and disrespect frequently come just before the person's flounce and that type of behavior should not get a free pass either (on forums in general, not targeting anyone here).
Well they be tossed overboard for a reason, don't ya reckon? I be off to Cthulhu's Chamber O' Chastity, and be back later. See ya in the high tides.
Sometimes. Other times, they jumped overboard for a reason. ETA: And of course we're all speaking in generalities and might likely agree if any particular flounce thread was put in front of us.
I am aware of the dictionary definition of flounce, but what, exactly, do you lot mean by it? I'm all confuzzled.
