It's a story with a happy ending. What better place to introduce it? It's not like I'm trying to sell something. RELAX ALREADY!

Go on Wordpress with your story, it takes 5 minutes to set up an account.

'Heh heh, honey, honey, this guy in the story has a tiny pecker...'

'Well, how tiny is his pecker?'

    'Tinier than mine, thank God...'

'You mean really really really tiny..?'

'Now then, you wait a minute.'

    'Relax Trigger.'

'I love you so much and forever. You baby are my cathedral.'

I've been invited to a rooftop BBQ....happening in an hour.

Won't miss this chance as its from one of the uppity New Yorkers I met and befriended at the new job. Its always good to meet people in high places, especially in this city.

.....Okay, that's a lie, Idgaf about meeting people...I just want some BBQ. I'm a fraud of a socialite.

Actually they aren't , there are no proven health benefits to fasting at all. If you want to do it for religious grounds that's fair enough, but it doesn't make people healthier and the claims it does are hipster junk science.

Or Islam - Ramadan, the social/cultural dimension, experience of fasting, among several billion people over twelve centuries.

Which is religion not science do try to keep up. I respect mans right to his religious preference but there is no scientific basis at all for the health benefits of fasting. ( except the junk science websites - that portion of the remark was general and not aimed at mans religious views since it was responding to his point about fasting without god)

Also the purpose of fasting during Ramadan is not health based, it is about demonstrating self control, as Muslims are also expected to do in other areas of their life during Ramadan, and the fast is only during daylight hours .

Why you gotta piss in his cheerios, man? If someone reads his post and proceeds to fast based on pseudo-science, then it's not really Mans' fault, is it?

Fair point, but I'd say it's one thing for him to chose to do it, it's another to start making factual statements about the health benefits being undoubted.

Also he lit my blue touch paper telling us all we have to believe. He has a right to be a Muslim, I respect that, but I also have a right to be an aetheist without being preached to on a writers forum.

Finished another short story. I've been pretty good about producing new work on a regular basis. I also feel like I make smarter choices than I used to in both writing and editing. But my lover just asked me why I'm wasting my time writing science fiction. Does my lover mean wasting time in terms of wasting time writing something else would be better or that it's all simply a waste of time? Whatever. I'm going to sell this baby and my lover can read it when it makes it to print. Crap, my lover doesn't want to read this one. Maybe tomorrow, but it still seems like a pass. My lover usually reads everything I write first and always. Have I've just lost 99 percent of my readership?

Tell me about it, Self- Plugs, Ramadan, etc. I think if someone was really talented enough, they could make a crazy comedy based off of the WF forums. :p . Don't even get me started on what's in the other threads.

Felt a pain on the top of my nose today, went to the mirror, gave it a little squeeze and...

it popped. Just a tiny little bit of junk came out, but no muss, no fuss, no bother, no waiting for it to "mature" or ripen or whatever. All gone now, no mark, no residual pain.

After my mother died almost 12 years ago, I planted an apple tree in her memory, which also died within two years, without ever bearing fruit. The following spring, a new shoot emerged, perhaps from some stowaway seed that came with the original tree. It's flowering for the first time this spring. The blooms are dark pink, which makes me think it isn't an early mac like its predecessor but perhaps an ornamental variety. I do believe in the continuity of the soul (though I wouldn't argue about the specifics), so I love the symbolism of that.

I preordered a copy of Dark Souls Remastered at GameStop last week. It arrived last night at 9 PM, but I was too busy to grab it. However, I finish my internship today in twenty-two minutes, and then I’m free to pick it up :D
