Better at reading than speaking it. I didn't have trouble reading everything that was written here a page or so back! But I'm shy speaking it. French oral exam was very stressful for A levels!
I understand French intonation is alienating it is anything but what you are used to and so yes it can be nerve wracking. I prefer spanish it is easier on both hearing and speaking. do you speak any spanish?
