That's really cool, Ash. I wish my parents brought me a blank book. I would have written and drawn all over it. :p . It's such a same to loss such personally valuable earl work. Exccept for a few things that survive in my memory, there is no telling what I wrote. However, I do have a feeling that video games may have played a part in retarding my development as a writer. :( .

But, yeah, to be able to go back through your childhood writings would be so awesome and say "Hey, I wrote this"

Mine were mostly comics early on, usually involving the club I created called "The Eagle Club", and would have my friends and I go on adventures, My memory is a bent flimsy, but I do recall a caveman story (don't remember the subject or story, just that there was a Cave man one) and a Fantasy one. And in most cases kids from school I didn't like filled the roles of the villains. Ironically , one of those villains actually became a good friend of mine. :) . He gets a kick out it when I tell him about the story. OH yeah, and we were represented by Animals, I was of course an Eagle. My brother was a Tiger.

As for military, if I had any stories, I most likely played it out with my G.I. Joes and never wrote it down, which is disappointing.

However, later in life, as a Pre-teen to Young adult, I drew several military vehicles, equipment, etc. and I still have them, stored on my computer and in a notebook. I also started writing a series of short stories called the Eagle Force, later Elite Force, (I want to say inspired by Desert Storm and X-Com), it was about fighting terrorism. But has developed as my world develops.

ETA: After posting this, I went back through my EF Files, and forgot how cool some of my sketches were. Some not so much. You just have to ignore practicality with some of them. LOL.

My duckling is a little spaz. They vibrates their bill when they drink so it makes this weird buzzing sound and then when I try to pick the duckling up, they race in circles around their container. Not to mention the duckling is really, really good at jumping, will roll around on the little bed I put in for them, and will chase my hand when I move it away after petting them. Super cute, but kinda crazy. Really funny though

Started writing a new story a couple of days ago. First time in a long, long while that I have started on something new. It's only a scene or two so far, and I don't know where it will go, but it feels great to explore a new world again! :-D

    I want ducks. :) They're adorable.

I've got chickens, though, and they're little dinosaurs down to screaming like a velociraptor because I picked them* up.

    * = It's just one. His name his Erik and he's the big rooster, but he screams if I go to put him down after holding him.

You need more chicks. :) They're like having chips, but chicks really need more than one to be happy. Plus, the shenanigans they get up to is great, lol.

Well, got my code for the Fallout 76 B.E.T.A., and redeemed it, got my account all set up.. now to just wait for the B.E.T.A. to open. up. :) . Looking forward to it, thankfully I am the kind of person who can accept a game for what it is instead of hate it for not being what it isn't or what I wanted it to be... If that were the case I would have never played Fallout 3 thus playing Fallout New Vegas.

Besides, Fallout Tactics was the last true Fallout game anyways... aside from New Vegas. :supercheeky:

One of the boys at the school I work at was playing a Zelda song on the piano down the hall, that made me smile.

Hello from America. [IMG] Just wanted to remind my non-American friends that you are all beautiful and special, and I love you very, very much. I'd hug you, but I'm a whale and might crush you. I could kiss you but...hmmmm... <lightly bops you on the cheek with the edge of my snout>

So we still doing this Cocky stuff, because I am thinking of starting a New series called the Tales of the Cocky Royals. It will be about my characters through out the history of my world, being cocky and doing cocky shit.

Also, alternatively I was thinking of calling it the Cockiest of Cocky Royals.

Spatchcocking? Might as well just chop it up into pieces. Whole birds should be cooked whole (minus the feathers and guts of course).

I can see so many stars right now. I think I can even see an arm of the Milky Way since we’re passing through a pretty dark area on the road. Can’t sleep -my mom, sister, and I have been driving for maybe six hours now. At least another hour left before we get to the hotel. Vidcon should be fun :)

A boy got a few cans of Sanpellegrino orange for free and gave me one on the way back into school. He had gone out on a school activity with one of the teachers :)
