Hang in there, Shen!

Just got back from a sweeping of the medical supply store and a workout. Getting ready for a bath and a run of the pub. Special forces buddy is gonna be serving drinks tonight, so I can bother him for a night while drinking, mostly, water.

 

Procrastinating on microeconomics... two weeks worth of work is due on Tuesday, but I just took a shower and this bed is so comfy -love the feeling of cotton sheets against clean skin- so... yeah. Hard decision, maybe just a few more minutes laying in bed will help

 

Taking a shower after a long hot day is a surefire way to end up sleeping. I might end up doing just that, too, since I don't think traveling around the smelly streets of NYC, just to shit talk with old buddies, is all that appealing right now. Dinner, writing then sleeping looks a lot better.

 

Not sure why, my TV is on TLC's "Say yes to the dress"

I was browsing sites though.... maybe I should change the channel.

 

Getting in the right frame of mind, so I can meet my goals,

Getting my heartrate back down, just had another aftershock. Not too big, but I thought we were mostly through with them.

Spending the day working on Lore for my world in regards to the Human-Species of the planet and where they resided (Originated from) and a bit of how they came to be. .

 

I've been inspired by recent events to write an emotional story. Should be fun.

 

Staying up way late because, hey, why not? Playing with MATLAB (gotta learn to use it) and writing the occasional sentence in my superhero story. My superhero story is becoming more involved than I originally thought it would be, but whatever. It's good practice. Also, it takes place in the same world as my WIP, so I get to fill in some worldbuilding. All's well.

 

Started writing aforementioned story, but think I'm gonna need to pick an angle and stick with it, otherwise it's gonna be too back and forth. Kinda don't want to write this, because I know it will upset me...but it is meant to be sad, so there's no getting round that reality!

Currently riding a bus to Portland Maine, stay two days in a luxurious roach infested motel then two connecting flights back to Kansas City. Oh and listening to Foo Fighters - Stranger Things Have Happened on repeat.

 

I believe we watched the same program dear Kat, let me know if you need a shoulder to cry on. I'm always there for you, I teared up more than once watching that documentary. I promise not to bite "don't believe her"

Preparing to spend a lazy day indoors. Even though it's nice out, I'm already tired of the heat. Not even going to the nasty, packed beaches we have over here.
