Sometimes it's great, other times... I listened to a book narrated by Edward Herrmann that had a South American character in it. In the novel, I'm pretty sure that it said the character's English was flawless, but on the audiobook? Well, when I think of native Spanish-speaker business tycoon, I usually don't think of them talking like Speedy Gonzales. Mr. Herrmann was a great actor, but he could not do a Spanish accent and shouldn't have tried.
Confession: I don’t know how to dance at things like parties or concerts. I see other people do it and I understand the concept, but when it comes to application... no. Just no. Square dancing though... do I have some stories
Oh that's disappointing...I loved Edward Herrmann. But no, his natural accent would be completely incompatible with that. edited for clarity
What are social gatherings? You know what nevermind. I've got another song for you. I'm listening to it right now and it's too good not to share. It's called Upsidedown by Lacuna Coil.
@Jake the Snake Okay, I really liked that song. I especially liked the guitar solo in the middle, though it was a bit simple in comparison to some I’ve heard in other songs. The guitar throughout wasn’t as rough as it usually seems to me in metal, so I liked that. Enjoyed the melody and harmonies in general too and the lyrics. There were a lot of things I liked about it. Good find you have good taste!
I confess to having just sent out an email to three of the most crucial people in my life, with details on what to do should something happen to me. It was both interesting, and emotional to do, but I feel glad to have done it. ETA: I confess that I also have a text on my phone containing much the same details as well, so the emergency services know who to contact.
Looks @Jake the Snake *Licks Her Lips* Sounds like a dream I just had. Come vampire. Come. Get. Me. Show me your worst, I'll show you my best. Give this a listen. Can't stop listening to it.
