I've been on a ketogenic diet for about a year and a half now and it's fantastic. I can eat cheese! Also, he's correct, as ketogenic diets are extremely low in carbs (sugar) and they often result in weight loss.
I finished categorizing the Human-Species of my planet, but I still need to do a population chart for referencing. No progress in my WIP today.
Happy that I learned to count. I thought my story was at 14k words. Nope. IT'S AT 225,000! AAHAHAHAAA! MUUWAH HA HA HA HAAAA!!! Aah ahh oh... shlkqwjbdfc Mmm... type-gasm... TWOHUNDREDTWENTY-FUKKINFIVETHOUSAND!!! *faints*
How on earth did you confuse 14,000 for 225,000? I must confess I've never had the word count issue - Microsoft Word counts them for me. :3
"I'm not a human. I am a meat popsicle" - Corbin Dallas, The Filfth Elemphant Because I'm a moron. After Google Docs hid the function, I took my 450 pages and tried to make my own formula. Oops. Moron, remember? I've never written a story before. I never would have, but an idea bugged me for ten years, and I finally overcame my aversion to keyboards, only to discover that one-finger typing keeps my ADHD brain in focus. Then another story idea started bugging me, so I started that one too. I've tried to sabotage my efforts, to write myself into a corner, and be over it. It has backfired, massively. It consumes me.
Like what? Do you talk to CT about em? I've been bashing this wacky idea for a thread around. Give me an idea of genres you think in, so I can munge it over in my craniumbone.
I can think of 8 stories I have in mind. Some sci-fi, 1 romance, 2 thrillers, 1 comedy. I don't think I have mentioned them to him actually.
Just had a rummage through my paperwork, and it turns out I actually have 16 stories in varying degrees! ETA: I actually have another one in my head, with a plan for a sequel to it as well!
My stash is smaller, but I always have to resist the urge to tinker with them. Must do one at a time!
I made excellent progress in my Human-Species notebook, however, when it comes to local demographics, I am just going to stick to the areas my WIP takes place in at the moment, since 1) My WIP is the whole reason I started to do this Human-Species notebook, 2) If I did everything, it would take me forever, and most area's are not fully fleshed out, so I would rather give them proper attention when the time comes. 3) I would never get finished, and I need to return to my WIP on monday. (If not tonight) Also, I need to figure out how to implement Hornet and Ant people, since this world doesn't have normal versions of them (there is a lore reason for this), without it being too goofy, they are about 2.5" tall, and have limited communication abilities with their 6'4" ft counterparts. And they are everywhere, just like their real world counter part. However there are also normal bugs as well, such as Wasps, Bees, etc.
Sweet, get Authoring. Maybe they will become best sellers and i'll have some on my shelf , just as long as they are not erotica. I can handle Romance to a degree. My stash is actually quite larger, but it's easier when the bulk of the stories take place on the same world, where many things are going to be similar. Plus having your own world means your rules (to a degree of course)
I don't have any erotica as yet, but I do have a title for one, but it may just become a saucy poem. Not sure yet. I've got one romance, and at least one more that will have an element of romance. I think most of my stories have romance in them to some degree actually.
I have a romance which might also be an erotica, depending on point of view. I mean, it has sex, but it also has a fairly complex plot and deep characterisation. I wonder what boundaries something has to cross to be classed as true erotica.
Ugh. My friend is making some sugarless butterscotch cookies for me. But I have to go outside, on the bus then train to get them. On one hand...cookies I can eat. On the other...hot NYC trains and buses + people who don't know what deodorant is = wtf is that smell unholy goddamn.
