Confession: I don't like Star Trek and think Star Wars is overrated. Many fans want my head for such blasphemous words, but cannot find me in my extra hidden bunker.
I was lost with most of Star Trek as well, although Enterprise wasn't too bad, as it had an epic theme song: I prefer Babylon 5, myself-mainly when John Sheridan takes over as captain, as I thought he was more likeable:
What’s a Star Trek? But seriously, I actually don’t know if that’s a movie or a tv series or what’s going on with that. Never cared enough to ask.
I'm only interested in the first 3 Star Wars personally. I have seen the original ones, but I couldn't get into them. I haven't seen the latest ones, after I saw a trailer for one of them and thought it looked like shite.
To my knowledge, it was originally a TV series, had many spin offs, and then they made some films of it.
The only thing cool about Star Wars is an unrelated video game made by Obsidian many years back. Think it was Knights of the old republic 2.
Couldn't agree more, with two exceptions that make me laugh every time I see them: Star Trek (series) episode "The Trouble with Tribbles" and the bar scene in the first Star Wars movie. (I can't remember if that was where they get Chewbacca or Han Solo or both, because I couldn't care less and was watching all the weirdness in the background.) I always wondered if those two things were written by different writers than the rest, because everything else bored me.
I confess that I'm not good at telling people when I am unhappy about something that they have/haven't done or are/aren't doing. I want to change, but I don't know how, because I'm terrible at confrontation and being assertive.
I confess that I am upset, I am tired, I am missing my bf, and both of my daughters, I miss England, and I miss my mum. I hate my life here.
but Sinclair was Valen! We live for the One. We die for the One. B5 had the best plot line ever! "I have always ben here."
There's dirt on my hands and jeans, there's cuts on my arms, and there's sweat on my back. Today was a good day.
