This is exactly why I bought a tesla coil lighter. It's USB rechargeable and quite effective.

 

I just keep a brazier going in the entryway that I lit from an ember I had smuggled from the "eternal" flame of the Bronze Soldier of Tallinn prior to the primary flame being extinguished in 1991. Smoking, cooking, romantic candlelight dinners, the glory of the Motherland never fades!
