Please @Jud remember you are a cantankerous 55 yr old man. Do not mess with minds with your darkness kissy pics under duvet fantasy arrangements. Stay on message.
A) that's a gorgeous picture of a beautiful bird. B) I had my glasses off and was wiping a smudge from them when I clicked the link and it looked like a dismembered and flayed limb at first.
These rather odd looking birds seem to be Indian Runner Ducks, which are apparently a type of Mallard (Anas Platyrhynchos).
Those aren't ducks. They're actually a species of grass that has evolved to look like ducks to avoid lawn mowers. They do, however, attract shotgun pellets. A subspecies of lead miners is known to lurk around these grasses as a result.
It's a bugger getting old. I might need me a new set of eyes in the not too distant future. New glasses aren't really cutting it and i keep losing the damn things.
The first book I ever read to explicitly reference transhumanism was a piece of excrement called The Transhumanist Wager. It has totally soured me on the whole concept, you'll never see me getting replacement anything.
Very true. I have a pair of reading glasses which I very reluctantly reach for from time to time, and one of those jeweller's eye-piece things which I probably use more than my specs, just cos it's cooler.
