Weird thing to be my first post in the Happiness Thread, but why not?

I like sitting on my bed and listening to music on YouTube on my laptop (through headphones). I could only do that at school because I didn't want my family coming in while I was listening and I'm embarrassed about my music taste. So during the long, loooong summer holidays (three months), I was having quasi-withdrawal symptoms and longing to do it again. And now I'm at uni and I'm all plugged in and I want to tell everyone how happy I am! I feel like jumping around the room! I'm just in this state of high excitement right now. I don't know why it makes me feel this way.

Nothing wrong with that! Enjoy it! I was cooking dinner with music blaring and felt happy for the first time in months...So much so that I made an art piece for the kitchen that says "We dance in this kitchen."

    This. ^^^

My boyfriend and I were talking yesterday and I convinced him that he needs a drawing of one of my characters to hang up on his wall. He requested it be small-ish, but still! I'm so happy!

I just love going onto Youtube Political videos and trolling the shit out of all the Side-Arm Generals... and their callous talk of allying and going to war, as though it was just a snap of the fingers. And talking about the down fall of a nation as though there will be no repercussions for the rest of the world. Oh, also everyone is a side arm politician, Economist, etc.

Look let me just lay it out, there are three nations...

Oceania, Eurasia, and Eastasia.... and this is 1984.... LOL...

Edit: Just as a side note... it's pretty fucking easy to make a decision effecting the lives of billions when you are not in control. And having wet dreams of crushing other countries and killing it's citizens. Fucking Humanity. This is why 1984 is a thing. (Yeah, this got dark).

I really enjoy comparing the original "Concept Draft" I guess you would call it. It's several pages that pretty much details what happens in an overview per say, from beginning to end with minimal talking at the start and almost none at the end with zero character development.

With the current and how things have changed.

In the original script, Kristol or Originally Cyrstal was pretty much a pacifist, avoiding war at all costs even after her father was murdered by a rival king. (Poisoned). and reluctantly goes to war after some arm twisting by the lords, stating that if not her, than her little brother, when he comes of age will take up the mantle and fight the war.

where in this one, Kristol as she is now called, pretty much says fuck it, I am kicking his ass. Not is not to say, she wouldn't prefer peace, but we are at a moment were peace is not an option and she's pretty much throwing down. Taking no shit off no cat... as it were. :p . (the rival nation are humanoid cat and wolf people). She's ready to march that army across and avenge her father.

She is also more of a warrior out to prove herself, where in the original, she is more of a reluctant or accidental warrior.

Working through editing my book, making good progress

Not going to lie, despite the tenses and the grammar errors. I have really been enjoying what I wrote. Got some pretty good laughs out of it. The content that is, not the other stuff.

Is it wrong to enjoy reading my MC get her ass kicked by her rival? Course it's part of her character development, and I know what happens later, but I still enjoy it.

Funny thing is, she was supposed to fight a generic General and and defeat him in the first fight. However, I felt this would keep her from developing as a character, so I created her rival, who's complete asshole, LOL!

There's going to be a live-action adaptation of Avatar: the Last Airbender on Netflix! I need to get Netflix, I'm going nuts! One of the creators has announced it and assured us all that it will be nothing like Shyamalan's attempt.

My favourite thing about that game is the random word/animal names they give the soldiers. My brother played it and got "Graceful Panther", "Silent Puma"...and "Death Sloth".
