Remember that credit cards should be fried or sautéed, not boiled. The oils preserve the flavor, while water leaches away the vitamins.
Hey man, can`t beat an omelette by much. Lazy or not. One of my favorite meals. I always like to add in green peppers. Have some sausage that needs to be cooked up. Probably gonna do that up with some onions and see if we have any sausage buns left. Then go through all the meat in the freezer and see what we want to thaw out for tomorrow and onward. There`s bacon ready to go to, kinda want a BLT but don`t have any tomato.
My favorites are scrambled omelettes. That's when you try and make an omelette, but in the folding stage it breaks so you just say fuckit and stir everything together before dumping it on a plate (or the floor, if you're feeling particularly uncoordinated that day).
It's been a tough week or so for me and I haven't felt very much like cooking (or writing, or doing anything else that's usually enjoyable tbh.) I'm starting to rally a little though, so I'm starting by making baked potatoes stuffed with chicken chili verde, avocado, cheese and crushed tortilla chips for dinner. I'm also making allspice cupcakes that will become caramel apple cupcakes for a potluck at work on Thursday (I usually make them in advance and freeze until I fill and decorate them the night before the event). Gotta start somewhere, right?
Oh hell yeah... Not available til next week, so I'm not technically cooking them tonight, but Pringles Sour Cream and Onion cup ramen?
It`s more of a western egg at that point. The sausage went well last night, just ate the rest of it as a early lunch. Planned out meals for the week, have a pot roast to cook tonight with some mashed potatoes.
Pork burgers seasoned with white pepper and garlic salt from the Cornish Sea Salt Company. To be finished with salad leaves cheese (DF for the bf of course) and gherkins for him. He will follow it with home made gf cookies.
Childhood trauma from eating that stuff. Hated it. Absolutely hated it. Still do. I like sausages, spaghetti bolognese and lasagne. That's it for me and red meat.
I freely admit that I am a poor example of a Brit in regards to food and beverages. I don't like tea, dandelion and burdock, elderflower, fruit cake, Christmas pudding, bacon, gammon, roast beef...
