Y'all, I have been deathly ill with the creeping crud for days now, though I seem to be turning the corner finally. My MIL is in town for the week, so I'm going to rally and cook up some basic comfort food - macaroni and beef with tomatoes.
I pushed the boat out a bit, and cooked a curry (though I did kinda cheat by doing it all in the same pan). With naan bread, of course.
What does a creature that big need teeth for? What is so damn big he needs to chew it? Anyway, I'm just reheating some KFC for tonight. Monday Night Football took precedence over cooking.
Gravy + rice? :/ ... Yuck. I would drink the sherry. It's a cheap date compared to wine, and chilled, and drunk like a Spaniard - rather than your aunty's thimble of old [times] I'll be ploughing on with the chicken blobs tonight, rice, yoghurt, and I'll make a soup/sauce with chick stock leftovers and haricot beans. I suppose like @Mark's gravy? Tho' bisto and rice is a 'poverty option' surely -- like pasta jam or scraps and hofmeister.
I got the sous vide out and I’m doing a lemon, garlic, rosemary chicken recipe I found on the Anova app, with roasted red potatoes and onions. It’s a keep-the-finders-crossed night at my house. I tank this and it’s suffer through a Whopper with cheese and onion rings.
Meal plannings been trailing off this week but it was a cold damp day so did a classic grilled cheese and tomato soup.
I can't but wonder if "HERS" refers to where she belongs or if whatever is captured there belongs to her. Ponderings, ponderings ...
I have a rug almost exactly like the one in the picture, got it in Cappadocia years ago. Spoiler The one touch of class in my otherwise cheaply-furnished abode.
