Hmmm think I should drop something upbeat in here, so here goes the most uplifting song I know. @minstrel may appreciate this with some of the reference he`s made.
Did Guns N' Roses steal this 1981 song to make the 1987 hit Sweet Child O' Mine? But then, you'd also have to factor Sweet Child O' Mine's guitar riff and guitar solo/guitar works written by Slash and Axl Rose's lyrics and, at the end of the day, Australian Crawl who wrote the 1981 track in question, say they won't even bother to take it to court if GN'R did since if GN'R did, they like what they did. But did they? TBH, I wouldn't put it past them (street urchin Guns N' Roses back in the day right) even if not all the members knew about it if it did happen (IDK, I was not there). - but, I wouldn't put it past them for a second, and that would explain Slash's guitar works a bit maybe, as he had a riff for it and, that riff was only edited out by Izzy during the mixing of the album (so to record Sweet Child O' Mine just play this version and mix it out afterwards)..? - Something I read in Slash's biography I think about the riff to SWCOM being a lot longer before Izzy did what he did. (Live in Melbourne, VIC, Australia).
Yeah... It's not even the song I thought it was... That said, it was a nice little trip down Memory Lane the song I found when I thought I found the one I wanted, but, also; I can't find the song I wanted.
