I knew Sal, he was a very welcoming fellow. OK, enough of that. Hello, and thank you for having me, even if you didn't know you had. I'm a "wade right in" sort of fellow, and by now I've commented on a few threads, written a couple of critiques, and (finally) read the rules, which led me here. An introduction seemed prudent. My screen name is my name (which, according to the Rules is a bad idea, though I'm not sure why). I was led here by a poster in the Writing community on StackExchange, and I hope to settle in, as it seems like a good place to learn to write better, which is something I desperately want to do. Part of my professional career includes technical writing, and I think I reasonably excel at that. However, fiction writing seems to be a different story (ba-dum-dum).
