He uses his magical scythe to harvest the grains used in birthday cakes. That's why birthday wishes are extra potent.
Just two months left until Lost gets here the next time The past over a month has felt like half a year so maybe this is not a happy post anyway
Had a great laugh this morning, had me laughing for at least a good 10 minutes maybe more, since I'm still laughing!! Lazy management, zero Communications and no clear definition of what's going on. This is the leadership skill of my stores assistant manager!! You're Leader!!
The wife and I did another escape room this morning, and had such a great time. We work well as a team, which is good (and fortunate!) lol.
Booted Stardew Valley for a couple of hours this morning. Now I have to figure out my strategy for upgrading the house, the farm and the tools, plus completing the offerings at the town hall...
I'm most of my way through my first alcoholic beverage, a glass of red wine, in about 3 weeks. I was told by the doc to stay off the alcohol while on antibiotics; pills were finished yesterday. It's really smooth and nicer than I remember it. Happy times.
Listening to a playlist that includes Poweslave by Iron Maiden, Painkiller by Judas Priest, and Psychic Warfare by Clutch.
[QUOTE = "Alan Aspie, post: 1715447, member: 87281"] Kimi then took and won the American continent. And we came back for a long time to listen to decent music and beautiful colors. And think that Räikkönen is barely halfway between his F1 career! And it can be fun and cheer what Räikkönen's face was after winning! It almost smiled at the other tip! May this joy and happiness come true! [/ QUOTE] I don't want to be a pain in the ass about this, but we do have a rule here that all posts must be in English. Please see Forum Rules.
Got in to work this morning and realised that we had a new computers and pads... weeee. Yay! No more windows 7 and PCs that seems to have been around since Jesus played hockey for Jerusalem. Also... they no work smoothly...... aaaah. It is under appreciated how much new computers are nice and fast compared these these old lumbering PCs that take a whole half hour to boot up.
To celebrate my birthday, I decided to tick something off my bucket list. I ate Ben and Jerry's* directly out of the tub. With a teaspoon. I was even wearing my pyjamas. Now I can die. *Phish Food, no less!
Man, I wish I hadn't gone through all the easy stuff on my bucket list so early. I've found a guy who gives helicopter tours, got the wingsuit lined up, fermented bean paste is easy to find at any supermarket here, and the picture of Bea Arthur in her dress blues has been sourced and printed, but you would not believe how hard it is to find a coonskin cap in this country, and customs always confiscates the ones I order online.....
I am a simple girl with simple wishes. Also I'm an introvert who only ever leaves the house for lectures and food shopping.
Kimi veni-vidi-viceted American continent. And after long time we had a possibility to listen some good music and see nice colors. And think: Räikkönen is barely in the midpoint of his F1 career. And the joy and happiness in his face. He almost smiled with another corner of his mouth. Oh this day of delight and happiness. Sorrryyyy.....
Got a new case with a backlit keyboard for my iPad Pro. The keys are a little cramped, and backlight shuts off quickly when you stop actively typing, but it’s very nice otherwise. Makes writing far easier, and frees up the screen area the virtual keyboard used to take up. Even comes with special buttons and key combos for opening the home screen, switching apps, adjusting brightness/volume, skipping and fast-forwarding songs, locking the tablet, etc. For a mobile operating system, iOS is surprisingly robust when you get the right apps and equipment.
Yeah, mobile systems have definitely come along in the past decade. Right now my setup for working on the road is my Samsung Tablet combined with this cheap wireless keyboard and AndrOpen Office as software. Not a huge Apple fan, but I'm assuming that's just personal preference.
