In a good way or a bad way? Sounds bad. But the song is fine.

The J. Star guy. I got through most of the initial shriek, then flipped back to my player which had the above Cohen song on at the time.

Got to figure out how to put together £3000. I can afford rent but not a deposit. Can't find any jobs that I can do. I hate being an adult.

Is there any seasonal jobs going around where you at? Something like fruit picking is always an easy way to get in as they require no job experience or particular skills.

Fruit picking? In October? What glorious land of sunshine and hedonism do you hail from?

Errrrm... Australia... besides, some farms have crops all year round. So there may always be something to pick or do. But still, fruit picking is not the only seasonal job out there.

Well, that would definitely explain that. Where I'm at this is pretty much the End of Days for plant life.

From what I can see, there's tutoring - which I would be crap at - Deliveroo riders, or typing stuff up, which I don't think I can type fast enough to do. At all.

    WHY AM I SO CRAP?!

You can learn to type fast pretty quickly, there is software out there for free especially designed to do that.

Also, What is a a deliveroo rider?

You could also sell your body, though I wouldn't recommend it. I've been there and you end up spending every nickle you make on jewelry and skin tight pants.

I really want to dress up as a male character for halloween, but I'm afraid I'll get backlash for doing so because I'm a girl. I could go as a female character, but I feel like I would have more fun as the male character. Regardless, I think I'm going to basically cosplay whatever character I choose. I have to make a decision tonight because I have to order the stuff.:( (And I have homework to do on top of making this decision)
I just don't want people to judge me...

They want people who can type accurately at a rate of 65 words per minute. Deliveroo is a takeaway delivery company. They usually deliver stuff on bikes so they're riders, not drivers. Only problem is, I can't do hills.

There is a simple remedy to this... just don’t care what others think of you. Ther is bound to be someone out there that dislikes you, what you stand for, what you look like or even the colour of your shoes. So just be yourself, do what you like and the others be damned.

    I see.

65 words be minute actually really quite slow. I just did a test and I average at 72 on my tablet. But I have always been a fast writer. On my keyboard at home I probably could average at 90+ fairly easily.

65 words per minute is about one every 0.92 seconds. So really, plenty of time since most words are on average 5 letters, and you should be able to hit at least 3 Of these with different fingers. It is just practice. Train yourself and you will get there. It is fairly easy once you get even an hour of practice in.

Also, when it comes to typing, how many fingers do you use? If you want to hit high speeds, you need to use at least 3 fingers on each hand. In my case I use 9.5... or st least that is how I classify it since my pinky on my left hand is purely for shift, caps lock, tab and ctrl just like the pinky on my right hand is purely for punctuation.

The keyboard is designed in such a way that went you have your fingers on the home keys (F and J), then your fingers will naturally rest near often used letters that are away from other often used letters. so that, ideally, you can type a max of 10 letter word with one stroke of each finger.

Doctors not doing their job causes me stress, angst and having to get even earlier from work, which in turn mean I need to work late some other day :(

My cold medicine says that I'm supposed to take it three times a day, after a meal.

    Ana is glaring at me.

I'm just kidding, I'm dieting, but not using pro-ANA techniques.

    Yet

But the diet's doing really well, I feel fine, losing weight at a healthy pace, so I shouldn't need to.

The Pentecostal family across the street awoke this morning in a boisterous mood. They've got the music going. Noise ordinances in Puerto Rico are nonexistent prior to 10:00 pm. I don't usually care about their music. They keep it at a respectable level. But today she's playing that one creepy record (yes, I'm assuming an actual record) that's ancient, in Spanish, has to do with her religion, and sounds like a recording of a recording of a recording, passed through really shitty speakers. It sounds like something you would hear in a horror movie being played in some lost backwoods hamlet where the freshly scrubbed, good-looking young protagonists have unwittingly blundered. Gore and screams are shortly to ensue.
