Sorry. I actually didn't know Christmas was not the birthday of Jesus. I apologize Christians because of my mistake. I asked the managers to change the title of the topic Thank you for your announcement
I'd heard his birthday was either in March or September. Here's an interesting article on the subject. https://www.whychristmas.com/customs/25th.shtml
Respectfully I had another mistake. I thought now is Christmas and created this topic as a congratulation. This mistake was because of the Turkey celebration that Christians held last week. I supposed a few days after Turkey celebration is Christmas, while it is in September. So I apologize you Christians again and will ask managers to delete this thread, but before the requisition I wait for a while so that people read this post.
Well, Christmas is indeed when most Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus. It’s an inaccurate date, but it is the usual date. So you weren’t really wrong about that. However, it’s roughly a month after Thanksgiving—it’s December 25.
Yes, Christians do celebrate the birth on Christmas. In Islam, it is believed he was born around summertime.
Thanksgiving isn't Christian, it's American. And the fact that it features turkeys shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.
Canadians also have Thanksgiving, but it's celebrated in October to mark the successful return of Martin Frobisher from his failed attempt to find The Northwest Passage.
I thought it was because you were the good guys and survivors facing Boston Tea Party/George Washington & his minutemen? Christmas IS at Christmas. For goodness sake.
Unless it's not. My Great Grandmother was Ukrainian and had Christmas in January rather than December.
Probably not considering I don't celebrate at all and I was never in the Ukraine while she was alive.
