Katherine MacGregor, who played Harriet Oleson in the very popular American show Little House on the Prarie, died on the 13th of this month, last Tuesday. Perhaps not someone younger people will recognize today, but as a child of the 70's and 80's, her role as the crass and often self-centered Harriet Oleson was unforgettable. https://www.nytimes.com/2018/11/15/obituaries/katherine-macgregor-dead.html
Roy Clark from Hee-Haw has passed. Who? I remember my grandmother used to like Hee-Haw, it was a country and western comic variety show. The Hollywood Reporter says Monday night the 17th. Their sourcing for that sort of thing is usually pretty accurate.

From a Yankee Doodle Dandy POV, it's interesting to note the Americans who show up on the UK radar. When I was binge-watching Mongrels - a show that dropped UK celeb, socialite, and politico names twice a minute, I have to admit to having to google the vast majority of names to get any context.
