Funny enough, for going 150mph (241km) it felt pretty slow. Even in the dream I make a comment on it. Then as we got over the hump of a bride, the cars all disapeared and everyone was just standing in the street. tons of people just standing their, evenly spaced. My Dog was going through them sniffing. one woman holding a baby asked how she was so fast. which I said "I dunno"
Sometimes, when you have nothing to do, it's best to get up and do it. Sometimes it's not. Don't beat yourself up - you won't always have the freedom to choose.
Waking up having missed all the lectures, the lunchtime news and Neighbours on the telly, and then later sloughing down the Dorchester for six pints, a night at Jesters and waking up having missed all the lectures, the lunchtime news and Neighbours on the telly
Clippit! I liked animating him. But he could be annoying at times. ETA: My favourite animation was when he came right up close to the screen and waved at you. So adorable! (Yes, I know he is a fake paperclip, but still. )
I remember him! Reminds me of writing fake newspaper articles about historical events in primary school. Some of the school laptops had Word 2007, but some didn't. I used to use Word 2003 at home, too. That was a very long time ago. I was fascinated by him. What would he turn into next? (Also, I loved the spell checker. I used to spell words wrong on purpose so that I could click on the list of suggestions and see if it could guess what I was trying to say.)
TMW you find an old Erotica book cover and you can't stop laughing at how odd things were back in the day.
TMW you spend $350 on bulk artificial flowers to DIY your own wedding decorations...... -cries internally-
@EstherMayRose and @Cave Troll, it will have to be like in March. I had the flowers sent back to my parent's home. I didn't want to travel with all of it, lol! I go home in March, so I'll be working on them then
I'm reminded of Molly Millions from Gibson's Sprawl trilogy. She had surgically attached wraparound mirrorshades that completely sealed her eyes, so they rerouted her tear ducts into her sinuses. She too cried internally, and then spat. Someone's visualization:
