    You're very welcome.

If you want any other recipes give me a shout. Though I haven't mastered bread yet DX

Takeout today. Brought some sesame chicken with pork fried rice from some random spot I passed by. Its pretty hard to mess up said order as its just breaded chicken pieces drowned in a sweet sauce with sesame seeds thrown on top, but somehow, someway, they actually did. They fucked up my order an I'm too tired to take it back, so I'm eating it.

A little side note: This time, as I ate the disgustingly cooked meal, I was actively, near begging, to find a roach or a fly - that way I can wimp out of eating this crap with an excuse.

Oven-baked pork chops napped in creme fraiche and Dijon mustard, with wholewheat pappardelle (which I'll have with tons of parmesan). It's for lunch tomorrow.

with appropriate thanks to @S A Lee ...

Beautifully pink beef with a very acceptable Yorkshire pudd'n (plus lovely crisp roast potates, mashed swede, peas, carrots, onion gravy and horseradish sauce!)

Made some halfway decent pasta that resembled bacon pepperoncino last night. Home cured and smoked bacon, natürlich.

Oh, yeah, forgotten about the rutabaga thing - I had never heard of rutabaga until this forum!

Also, also known as neeps from, apparently, brassica napobrassica... delish with a twist of black pepper

'Swede' pops up fairly regularly. I did a proper knee-jerk reading a short story when she said 'like molasses.' So offended I sat in a darkened room like black treacle, is it? I'll have to check.

Some good food porn pics - @John-Wayne 's double cheese sandwich and chips nudged into the bronze by 21st century beef and Yorkshire pudding images c/o @Mallet.

'Mock roast' tonight. Maybe a fish stew tomorrow - stock + puree + celery in my base. Possibly chorizo stew the night after, another domestic staple of the last 25 years.

Really, was it Boston? The [in]famous one...or are you galloping over-atop my capacity to comprehend?

I was being facetious, but slyly hinting at Boston. I actually don't know how any of my great grandfathers died. Though when I first read about Boston, my first thought was, "slow as molasses in January, my ass."

I'm sorry for your losses. When I was 7/8 I was addicted to The Book of Lists and Catastrophe: When Man Loses Control. I know everything about molasses/pilot ghosts in the Everglades/Napoleon's penis and such.

That's pretty much a staple in my house. Don't know what to do for dinner, whip up some meat sauce. We buy kilos of pasta at a go online, so there's always something to mix it with.
