What Are You Doing?

Just finished a dawn 2hr walk on the beach. A week or so ago I came a cross a heart shaped pebble.
Way back in 2012-13 when I used to frequent the beach I came across a heart shaped leaf and a sponge.


Came across three this morning, 2 pebbles and 1 jelly.

 

About to head home for me bike ride.

Will take weekend off from exercise so I can see if I can install new gearing, as I'm usually too wasted on my rest day.
Monday is first ride to village (weather permitting). So looking forward to it.
2nd big hill, just before village is about 1.5 - 2kms long, but incline maybe 10 degrees. Takes a long time to ride it but not painful.

Ride home is always quicker 'cus down hill on long hill...weeeee,
and the other side of hell hill is 4X longer with less incline.

 

Preparing for some wild weekend weather. We had some explosive lightning and thunder last night.

 

Love that stuff! Take some video! Wish I was there to see it. We had rain, rain, rain, and wind, wind, wind. No lightning.

 

Settling into my office set up. Did all my cleaning stuff earlier and then my energy just flatlined. Tried to take a straight nap ended up being more of a collection of a few seconds of sleep and being tired almost to the point of delirium. Even accidentally poured a thing of water onto myself....not my proudest moment. Started feeling slightly more human and went down to an advisory board meeting at the art center and got a box of thin mints. Then went out to the bar, for my birthday. Rum and coke and a shot later ... I`m awake now and feeling productive, and buzzed.

 

Hey, if it works...

 

Wouldn`t be the first writer to do his best work drunk. Got some good foundational stuff done. I feel like I could charge through the night, and probably could getting a bit done but I`d regret it later. Probably best to call it now, wake up whenever I wake up tomorrow and try to work from there.

 

Snowed in, think it was more than they thought would be.

 

Trying to catch up on a week's worth of WF activity whilst I have a load of washing on.

 

Starting things off right with some Russel Howard. Late start to today. Woke up at six actually checked my phone than fell back asleep dropping the phone. Got up proper around nine, gave the dog her medicine ate a cupcake for breakfast than kinda just sat in contemplation for a while after getting dressed. Or zoned out for an hour whichever one you like. Waiting for the oil to be delivered today whenever that comes. After that probably going out to order some new glasses and print off some pictures. Thank you, Walmart for letting that all be done in one spot.

There`s an artsworks meeting tonight but I need to do actual...art work...so I`m probably staying in and doing that. Feeling good, after last night. Might actually sing on the next karaoke night. Or just take my laptop down some other day, there was almost no one else in there was nice. Mabye they all just avoid karoka night though. Twenty-one...if I can pull my life together now I`ll only be slightly late and that`s ok.. I`m eccentric.

 

Just made a mug of decaf green tea and am settling in to do some writing after having gotten some incredibly boring work out of the way.

Vitutus! It doesn't have the same feeling as "fuck" does, but it'll grow on me quickly. Especially since I don't want to give my youngest niece anymore dollars....

As for what I'm doing right now... Getting ready for a movie date. Gonna see Alita battle angel. Heard it's not a bad live action version of an old manga series. So here's hoping.

 

Discovering that the crosswords in the local paper are harder than expected. It`s not even the proper paper just the inserts they stuff in the mailbox. The crosswords legit though.
