Don`t worry moose no one here is gonna eat you.....in nonapocalyptic conditions. If things go really south real quick it`s every writer for themselves.

Today`s been a really good day, stuck to a routine good, job hunting seems to be leading to promising things, and my workouts and eating routine while not stuck to perfectly seem to be working as I notice more muscle on my arms and my stomach becoming slightly toner. Only been doing a thing of ten push-ups and ten sit-ups a day lately but it seems to have been working. Spoke to the owner of a gym that I`ve volunteered at before with there youth programs who said if I keep doing that he`ll wave the fee (that I can`t afford) so once I start going there I can ask the trainer who I know and is a really cool guy-what he recomends I do.

    Things are going good.

Took me far to long to realize you weren`t talking about the Danish losing some sort of conflict.

I'm happy I survived the weekend. :D Spent half of it in a drab, about-to-be-demolished hotel in the derrière of Finland, the other half learning new things, which felt all the more exquisite when contrasted with the first half.

I don't know where to put this. This is wrong place but every other thread is even more wrong. And you need Google translater to read the link. But... Still....

In one Finnish psychiatric hospital has been found out that many peculiar things help in severe acute anxiety. Golf balls, fidget spinners, stress toys, ice bags... and chili sweets.

Patients have desired something and hospital has aguired it. Then they have tested does it help that patien, other patients and so on. Patients tell to other patiens what helps them and staff gets that knowledge.

Things are in a stimulus box and patients can try them.

The idea is that when someone is having suicidal thoughts or very high level anxiety, they have something else to focus. And when they focus to that something else, the autocatalytic loop of harmful thoughts breaks down. Patients can focus to something else than psychic pain and anxiety.

This has been tested for couple of years and it has proven itself to work.

They have even been able to substitute part of medication with stimulus.

Also weight blanket has been effective. (This is old knowledge. Temple Grandin found this out decades ago.)

This does not help everybody. And they still need drugs as part of treatment.

These intervention methods are most effective in acute, impulsive situations that have a suicidal tendency.

That kind of help is too mild in severe chronic situations.

And... Finland and our public health care system is very strongly against all kinds of hooey. This is serious psychiatric treatment in serious institutions under serious control and serious doctors.

Interventions with sensory stimulus are old thing in autism treatment. It is interesting to find out that it is becoming a serious treatment method among wider spectrum of problematic situations.

Four hours later and I wrote 1,271 words. Total word-count is 22,015 words *and* the final paragraph of the story has been written. Draft is far from completion but there you have it. The ending has been written. :read2::write:
