I’m doing a special request for my wife. It’s a grilled cheese with pickle and bacon and salt and vinigar chips on the side. I know. When she said that was what she wanted for dinner, I asked if there was anything else she wanted to talk to me about.
I don`t know what`s worse the fact I somehow forgot to type a whole word or the fact that we are all probably on a watch list somewhere now.
I don't celebrate St. Patrick's Day so I had: Roasted Turkey Mashed Potatoes Mixed Broccoli and Carrots (more carrots than broccoli but I prefer the other way around)
I'm on a lot of watchlists, if you need introductions, I know all the best ones and who to hang out with in solitary.
I don't think jelly rolls take me to more serious watch lists than one of my special interests. Tell me more! Tell me more...
steamed cauliflower, then marinaded in light soy sauce with garlic and capsicum, roast chicken wings all finished in wok to blend the flavours. Sunday Dinner.
found a 2kg shoulder of pork in the supermarket for £4 so have chopped it into a stew with carrots, beans, red onions, garlic, chillies and passata which will feed me for the week! Wouldn't all fit in the casserole (dutch oven?) so also had roast pork with crackling (amazing crackling - you know sometimes when it just works). Oven was on so roasted aubergine and red pepper to have with it. A full and happy hammer...
How I picture that going. I don`t know about Finland but in the US it`s actually kinda surprising some of the reasons people get put on watch lists. Of course, our government also likes to spy on us 24/7. I`m sure known associates, would be enough to get you flagged in the very least. I prefer to celebrate Saint Gertrude day. For real though, not big holiday people. Almost went down to a local Irish pub for an Irish breakfast but decided to sleep in instead. Did have a Reuben the night before, at the art center does that count? Did a good bit of non-Irish cooking yesterday, fridge is stocked for a bit. Do need to clean the kitchen up tonight, so we actually have pans to heat things in but should be covered for the week. We`ve got soup, noodles, chicken salad, and some turkey dogs that need to be used up.
Solitary is called solitary for a reason. If you don't like who you're hanging out with there, you probably need more than new friends.
I microwave my eggs and they taste as if I fried them in a pan. You just grease a small bowl with butter or oil, crack the egg in, then microwave for 1 minute.
Never heard of that, but it looks pretty good. Any special variety of cheese that goes well, or is it dealer's choice?
It is a quick and easy adaptation of buck rarebit (Welsh rarebit with an egg on top) which is made with a cheese sauce rather than grilled cheese. I used Emmental but only because that's what I had in the fridge - I think milder cheeses lend themselves, it would be a bit too rich with a strong cheddar
