https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6710457/Hero-NYPD-K-9-dog-named-Caesar-served-Afghanistan-euthanized-battle-cancer.html NYPD K-9 dog named Caesar died after a battle with cancer (15th of Feb, so a little old). That's literally the only death I've heard of recently that made my eyes water. An adorable badass, ha.
Sir Terry Pratchett I know it was four years ago (today) but it was SO notable that I thought it worth mentioning RIP Sir Terry, or, as your fans might say - "GNU"
Hal Blaine died yesterday. One of the greatest session drummers of all time. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hal_Blaine#Legacy_and_recognition
R.I.P Charlie Whiting. F1 & FIA are not the same without Charlie. https://www.bbc.com/sport/formula1/47564762
According to that Wikipedia article, he was active from 1949 to 2019. That's a seventy-year career. Not many musicians achieve anything like that kind of longevity. My hat's off to Mr. Blaine.
Harry ‘Taco’ Bowman, the former international president of the Outlaws motorcycle club concluded his sentence of two life terms plus 83 years with the US Department of Corrections at the Federal Medical Center at Butner, NC March 3. He was 69. It’s not known if his upbringing led to his life of crime or to his conviction on RICO and murder charges, but Taco Bowman was the product of a Catholic High School in Detroit.
Rafi Eitan, the man who captured Adolf Eichmann. And planned the bombing of the Osirak reactor. And handled Jonathan Pollard. And probably a ton of other stuff, but the Mossad is pretty tight-lipped.
Larry Cohen, director of such cult horror classics as 'It's Alive!' And 'God Told Me To' died March, 23. He was 77.
Okay, not sure how notable since I never heard of them before today, but apparently a musical duo calling themselves "Her's" were killed in a car crash this week. Here's the first song I found:

I came to comment on his passing. His story The Death of Dr. Island remains one of my all-time favorites. An utterly masterful piece of work. He also wrote The Island of Dr. Death, but that's a different story.
Aw, I loved her as Pat on Everybody Loves Raymond, too! The smoking episode and the bird episode were two of my favorites. R.I.P.
I was surprised she was only 70. She was younger than I realized when she was on the Mary Tyler Moore show, especially to be dating Ted Baxter.
