Did you just call my boyfriend a sheep?

To be honest I don't think I've ever seen a sheep in England. Then again England doesn't seem to have any animals at all - except for pigeons... and maybe seagulls.

I saw a horse there once. And a duck, but only one of each.

I was only there for a week, up in Lancashire, but... I don't remember seeing any wildlife at all.

Surely there must have been a pigeon or a Dalek or something that I missed?

It's 'cause the King's got all of 'em. Err, the Queen, I mean. But they're busy with some sort of emergency. Big oval guy fell off of something or something...

Well, England has the Arctic Monkeys.

    Oh, and *The Animals*.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Animals

    They also have Beatles.

    I'll be going now.

EDIT: They'd have foxes too, if they didn't hunt them all. </3

Nobody was responding for a hot minute there, and I was starting to feel really sheepish.

Gave me plenty of time to come up with that one though.

On the subject of wildlife in England:
In urban areas you'll find foxes prowling at night.
Pigeons, Sparrows, Starlings, Blackbirds, Robins in gardens during daylight hours (naturally).
Squirrels, Mallards and Canadian Geese in parks.
Cows and sheep if you go out into the countryside. That would be dependant on the area you go to as well. A lot of fields are full of crops, so not much wildlife there anymore.

Yep. I have limited holiday time each year (2 weeks), so I have to plan that far ahead. Especially for Christmas tickets, which are notoriously expensive if you buy them nearer to the time.

ETA: Booked it and paid. :agreed:
ETA2: The full total actually only came to 466.47 in the end. Always nice to save those few extra cent. :p

Gonna go out with some of the old buddies. They wanna try and keep my mind off of all the negative shit I'm currently going through, which is cool.

Little fuzzball also heard, most likely from her older sister, that uncle is in a "sad spot" right now. So the two of them brought me some Fallout themed socks. Told me to "not be sad" and gave me a hug. Hmph, little adorable twerp.

Anyway, onward to the house. It's Time for Thursday night hangouts!

Yesterday during the quiet hours of the day, I did some meditation (which I never do), in order to focus my mind, it was during a thunderstorm, with pouring rain and for some reason birds outside arguing among their own species, in said thunderstorm. I couldn't hear any people, machines, mechanically produced sounds or vehicles for once. Just %100 nature. It was insanely peaceful, living in a area those moments are so unbelievably rare. I had a burst of energy to write a lot, afterwords. - I just wanted to write that somewhere, think I should let myself remember how happy that made me.

Min @Lemie kommer til England i dag :p

And yes, I know that we always seem to be jetting off to be together all the time these days, but that came after three straight months of not being able to see each other, and even then the past trips have only been because work worked out conveniently with them so... You know... It's not a weird humble brag or anything.

Anyway, I am happy! We get the long weekend together, and next weekend, and it promises to be the warmest weather of the year, so happiness all around :D

Rumour has it that there will be picnics and wandering through parks and cuddles and so forth :D

Had fun yesterday. Won't be trusting anyone in an intimate situation for the foreseeable future, but it was nice to see others attempt to instill optimism in my head.

Woke up and decided, not so randomly, that I want take a solo trip to Tibet. Would be a good place to get away from all of this here in the city an I can continue my studies. So, I'm looking up tickets, hotels etc. Dunno how long I'll be away, but just the thought alone makes me excited!

I walked less than an hour with my wife a couple of days ago. We left the roads and went through some fields & very little bit of forest:
    - 3 white-tailed deers
    - 2 swans
    - one brown hare
    - God only knows how many birds.

    That Dalek ate that pigeon.

    Triffids ate that Dalek.

Now those Triffids are just waiting nice nature loving hikers to come...
